The Gremlin folding kayak has all the features and benefits of the Citibot but at 27 lbs. and 12 feet in length, its additional size can accommodate larger paddlers and bigger payloads. It fits in the same backpack as the Citibot so it's easy to transport and store but once you get the Gremlin wet, you'll see that it paddles like a high performance beast. If you are looking for a little more size and performance but don't want to lose the flexibility of a lightweight ultra-portable kayak, then the Gremlin is for you. The Gremlin comes with backpack, foot pegs and airform seat. Frame is assembled completely outside the boat skin and then placed inside. Tensioning comes from our much-copied adjustable stern tensioning mechanism and two full length sponsons. Tracks well, primarily because of the scalloped cross section of hull fabric when in the water. It creates the feeling of having three full-length skegs. Stability is good because of a generous beam. Materials Hull: principal component is Elvaloy - a polymer with toughness and flexibility. It provides superior abrasion, tear, puncture and UV resistance. It does not break down over time and is resistant to changes due to prolonged exposure to heat, UV and salt water.
