You can't beat the price of this band compared to buying a replacement from Suunto. I have had it for about two years, and it is still going strong. Be sure to tighten the screws now and then to be sure they stay tight as I have had them come loose and fall out.

For my Suunto Core, even though the original rubber strap is comfortable enough to wear, but still I always preferred nylon strap for this type of digital sport watches. Nylon strap is even more comfortable and easy to wear. And also, I did not want to damage the original band when I do some rough work.That was the reason I bought this Nylon strap.it is well made in a way and comfortable to wear. However, it wasn't easy to change from the original band to this strap. Since I have "old and rigid" hand, it was bit difficult to remove the lug screws and it took a while to do so.Even though this nylon strap is well made, construction wise, but it was too thin and light to compensate the weight of the watch which made it bit tough to put on my wrist.So unless you really tighten up the strap on your wrist, the watch tends to move around or even roll over to the other side of the wrist.I guess that this company can use heavier and bigger clasp with thicker nylon for their next product.

This is pretty much the same exact band that comes with the Suunto if you get one with the Nylon Band. There are slight differences, but not ones you would notice if you're not detail oriented or super observant.Side by side, they look Identical at first glance. Considering this Band is $11 bucks, and Suunto sells the same one for upwards of $50 bucks it's a deal.I don't recommend getting it wet, as continued moisture will help develope a nasty scent because the band is nylon. That was what caused me to need a new band in the first place. The smell on the Suunto bands that came with the watch was terrible. I washed it at least 6 times. It didn't help. I soaked it in alcohol, that didn't work. I soaked it in peroxide that didn't help. I dipped it in a Chlorine rich Pool and that didn't work.It was easier to just buy this band and chuck the old one.

I actually bought this band because the original was always breaking. I am an active person both in the gym and outdoors. The band is in near perfect condition after nearly 6 months of use. It is great in forms of function and being durable as wear and tear. It still almost seems brand new.The con: This band soaks up all sorts of liquids, to include sweat. After a couple of workouts the band starting to stink, so every 2 weeks or so I have a routine where I soak the band and watch in oxyclean for about an hour, wash with a detergent and rinse.conclusion: Its helpful, but the band isn't broken, frayed or even showing signs of wear. I would recommend to an everyday user instead of the elastic / rubber stock that comes on some watches.
