Sticks and stays stuck!! Top notch adhesive.
Adhesive is super strong. The location i needed this mount in my utv meant it would be overhanging the flat surface and I was concerned it would not stay adhered since I wasn't using the entire sticky surface. Months later it's still rock solid with no evidence of coming close or weaking. Comes with everything you need to clean and prep surface for adhesion. Great versatile mounting options not only for mob armor mounts, but also works for other magnet mounts as well

Very strong!
The plate sticks on very well. I got the ESR iPad mini case because I could remove the cover and it has a plastic so it would be good for this purpose. For my purpose I wanted to use it in my work vehicle but I needed a strong plate and this plate is STRONG. I stuck a MagSafe pop socket on it and I was afraid it was going to break the pop socket. I used a MagSafe vent holder I got at Target and it worked really well with the Mob Armor metal plate. Stayed stuck for 10 hours without much noticeable slipping because the plate is so thick even with all the potholes and rattling of the vehicle. I was pretty impressed. I put a plate on my Otterbox defender case (the inner plastic case) and pulled the outer rubber around it. I put regular metal phone plates on the plastic part as well so I could use the Smart Cover from my ESR case as a cover. It all works out in the end and I am very satisfiedI put a ruler on it so you can see how big it is. I didn’t see that mentioned in any other review or description.
