I think it works great!
I was skeptical about getting one of these despite the great reviews it had only because I had problems with the one from the cable company. I have a Tivo Roamio Plus and two Tivo Mini's that I have setup via MocA network and they were working fine without needing a filter. However, I was concerned about someone being able to access my network if my signal ever leaked out of my apartment. Considering that I pay bills online and input credit card information and the like often over the internet, I needed to get one of these ASAP. When I connected it to my main cable line over the front door to my apartment, I later went on to check my signal levels and speeds on the Tivos. I was getting the same throughput as before, however the signal was much stronger on all three Tivos. I have been using it for a few weeks already and it works great just as it should. I bought this one specifically because it said it worked with Time Warner Cable, which I have. I got angry the other day because my cable and internet were going out intermittently and the signals were all over the place. I thought it was an issue with the filter so I removed it, but my services still weren't working. I called the cable company and they told me there were no outages in my area. Later I found out that the cable company was performing upgrades in my area and the very ignorant representative wasn't even aware of it. So I realized it wasn't the filter after all and connected it again and all is right in the world. I should add that I have no idea if the filter is doing it's job and keeping my signal from leaking out or interfering with my neighbors seeing that I am no network wiz. It does work fine in the sense that my internet and tv service work the same as before.

This MoCA PoE filter fixed my Xfinity XB3 woes
Works great, exactly as I expected.Putting some info out there for anyone that might find it helpful since I had trouble finding useful info. I currently have service through Xfinity and use their XB3 modem/wifi gateway device. The coverage didn't reach the whole unit so I was experimenting with some different configurations and setups. I discovered that the XB3 seemed to have a built in MoCA function, and I wanted to give it a try on our network to reach further parts of the unit. After taking a look at the wiring in the unit, I decided that MoCA wasn't going to work with our setup. The issue I ran into is that for some reason there's a bug in the XB3 (or maybe a 'feature' pushed from Xfinity network) that doesn't allow MoCA to be disabled in the gateway after it's enabled – the setting just doesn't stick. I tried gateway restarts, resets, and even got an Xfinity tech try to push a setting change to the device from their network. I found a couple other forum references to this with no solid device solution. We live in a a 4plex unit with all networking running through the same coax splitter, and having MoCA turned on on the XB3 was wreaking havoc on the network. Random dropouts, sites wouldn't load all the way, slower speeds, and rogue devices showing up on the network. I also imagine that this may have been causing issues in the other units as well.Happy to say that as soon as I installed this filter on the coax into the XB3 the issue was solved.

One time $7.95 Spectrum Internet solution. We recently left Pensacola Florida and we hadn’t had an internet issue in 3 years. We moved to Virginia on July 7th and Spectrum Internet was installed on the 8th. It has been intermittent from day one. We experienced 5-20 internet disconnects per day on average for over two months. Some of them required equipment resets to restore. For 2 months I did everything I could think of to improve our network.I did some research and read some about how the cheap equipment provided by spectrum was sub standard. I figured the issue was most likely with my equipment. We replaced our Modem to a Netgear CM1200 $200.We replaced our wireless router to an TP Link Archer A7 $70.We installed 4 Cisco Switches two smart and two dumb. $300, $100, $50, $50.We configured several VLANs to keep traffic segregated. We installed a TP Link Wireless Access Point $80.We configured 6 separate WIFI networks on assigned channels to keep wireless devices on different frequencies.I ran 1200 feet of CAT6 cable. Every device that could be connected to Ethernet was. Including devices without ports that required adapters such as Firesticks $15 each. This reduced our WIFI use as much as possible.About 2 weeks ago after all of this we had our worst hour. We experienced 17 internet interruptions in 68 minutes.I had Spectrum come back to the house and recheck my coaxial cable in the house and check for noise and interference. He said my cable In the house was perfectly fine but he saw something down the line. They replaced one 6 inch jumper in the junction box by the street. After all that we still had intermittent issues that night and the following morning. The solution was cheap and simple.Last Sunday I ordered a MoCA filter on Amazon $7.95It arrived the next day.I added The MoCA point of entry filter on Monday. I installed It directly to my cable Modem as that is a point of entry for my network. Some people would probably do better in the box outside their house. We haven’t had a single interruption to our internet service since that filter was installed. 6 days and counting.I’m sure we will have some minor outages and Spectrum will go down from time to time.... but this fix has made a world of difference for us.Additionally this fix helps the entire neighborhood. For everyone that installs one it will help the reliability for everyone else.If you want to stop waiting on your Internet to reconnect get one!UPDATE: 22 November 2020. It’s been two months since our last outage. This might be the best purchase ever. Two of my neighbors were complaining about their internet a few weeks ago. I mentioned this filter and they both bought them and it immediately fixed their problems. If you think this might fix your problem spend the $7.95 and you will be glad you did.

For MOCA network
I got this for a MOCA network that connected my main TIVO box with a TIVO Mini in my bedroom. I suspect it is working just fine, but the network is still not very fast. Actually I think Tivo was wrong in suggesting I purchase this because I am on Verizon Fios. My cable connection doesn't leave my house.
