My Bernese mountain dog was chewing on it and his jaw slipped through a spot that caved when he bit. He loved the bone so the bone itself was a hit, but due to a rush to emergency room I’m rating it low. It took an hour to get his jaw back out and not to mention the bill. Wish I could have left a better review but I want others to see what can happen.

I had ordered this bone and was super excited from the reviews about it! However, I opened up the package and there were tons of beetles scurrying all over the bone and everywhere. It was supremely disturbing! The bone had this big area which was necrotic and filled with this gross green/white stuff. Needless to say, I did not give this to my puppy and I am extremely dissatisfied. I will not be ordering from them again.

1. These are properly described as saddle bones, not knuckle bones. They have a "Y" shape and 2 rounded lobes. Normally, I do not order these, as they do not last as long as whole knuckle bones. However, I needed something in a hurry.2. These were well-packed, in a dedicated box which was also lined in plastic, and each bone is of course individually wrapped. The plastic lining meant no oil bled through into the cardboard, and the dedicated box meant the loose bones did not bounce around and crush or grind other items in my order. Nice, compared to the way orders of whole knuckle bones often ship.3. These are heavy and dense, not over-cooked or toasted to be brittle. Color more pale than expected, but dogs do not care.4. The dogs were VERY attracted to them, and have spent far more time with them than expected. I'm pleasantly surprised.5. Size varied considerably. Two were quite small, probably from younger animals. Since the size and energy level of the dogs in my care was across a spectrum, this was not a big issue for me, but worth noting. Seller might be wise to sort into sizes and sell as "large" and "small", and also to label and promote as "saddle bones".

Originally a 5 star product. Pups lived them. I'm not sure if we got a bad batch this time, but the day we handed them later that evening we had 4 pups with the bubble guts... it was like having 4 kids with the stomach bug. I threw the remaining bones out, just to be sure. Our dogs have been eating these for months now and this is the first problem, but the experience was memorable, and we'll be switching to something different for chews from now on...

I ordered these to have around the office for our pit/lab mix. When I opened the package I noticed an overwhelming smell, similar to when olive oil or massage oil has gone bad. My dog would not take the bone from my hand (he's part pit he'll chew on sticks!!!), won't pick it up, and only sniffs it every so often in the yard; even the raccoons have rejected it--they've moved it around the yard but no takers. Something is definitely not right w/ these bones. The other one in the package went in the garbage. To the seller: please check your stock, whether age or storage condition, there's an issue with the product. Thank you!

This the ONLY chew/bone/toy that my 120 pound one year old lab hasn’t entirely destroyed in 2 hours. Totally worth it, we are on like 3 weeks and it’s in 4 prices but he still gets them out every night and buried them every morning. Totally worth the subscribe and save.

This is almost the length of a baseball bat, and well worth the price. It came wrapped in cellophane and was a bit oily. I returned it because after reading various articles about bones splintering and cause internal issues, ( NOT RELATED TO THIS BONE OR SELLER/COMPANY), I decided to return it.
