How do they do it for the price?
My wifes watch stopped working at the weekend and rather than take it to a jeweller who then sends it off to Switzerland for a "service" and then charges £75 for the privelege I decided to change the battery myself. It's a Raymond Weil that I bought her 15 years ago and it's been back to "Switzerland" for a new battery and a "service" twice before in the past but this time I thought I'd have a go myself. SO. After removing 4 tiny screws from the heavily engraved and ornate back all that was inside the case was a very basic looking quartz movement and a battery that just flipped out after lifting it gently from the side with a small screwdriver. So I noted the make and number of the battery, looked on Amazon and lo and behold there was a battery exactly the same costing the princely sum of 80 Pence , with FREE DELIVERY? So I ordered one expecting not very much to happen in the near future BUT it arrived First Class within 2 days and it was a genuine made in Switzerland Renata battery in sealed packaging. In it went and the watch should now be good for another 5 years. Seriously for 80 Pence? I really don't how how this seller does it for the price but I'm certainly glad they do. Good on yer Babz Media. You just saved me £74.20p!

It's a battery
Remove the old battery and replace with the new battery and get on with your day. Repeat when battery dies in the future, I would expect this to last a couple or more years as it is a standard wrist watch with no second hand and no other features.

I found and EXCELLENT price for that battery with MY BATTERY SUPPLIER, and it was shipped promptly. Instead of the 7-10 days for delivery, it came in only 3 days.
