It took a year but Universal/Classic Media have finally released the 10 episode best of Season Two DVD. This is technically the very first time episodes from Season Two have been released in the UK. No doubt that Season One would have to be re-released before we see a new full release of Season Two, but if you still want more He-Man after the Best of Season One, then defenately get this as it's worth the price.The quality of the episodes is once again superb, using the superior PAL masters that were in Hallmark's possession, before the Filmation back catalogue was brought by Entertainment Rights, then Classic Media. These episodes couldn't be any higher in quality, at least by DVD standards. ;)The episodes as before were chosen by James Eatock; author of Cereal:Geek magazine and the unofficial He-Man Episode Guide. Like before in the Best of Season One disc, there is a slight alteration between this and the two disc BCI Eclipse U.S. release, all the Season Two episodes are included, except for 'To Save Skeletor', which has been replaced.The episodes are as follows;1. It has been some time since the first season of He-Man & the Masters of the Universe was released in the U.K on DVD.Released sporadically from 2003 onwards via the Hallmark/Contender label they were presented in glorious colour and sound and i awaited with keen anticipation a full release of the second Season in due course, however, 10 years later it has never materialised in the U.K ( though Europe have had releases ( that are expensive to import ) the U.S.A has had special editions ( including one in a special edition Grayskull boxset complete with extras ) which is a tad baffling as clearly there is a market for the much loved 80's cartoon in the U.K but sadly an official full season 2 release eludes us.That said, here is a " Best of " Collection , featuring 10 sublime episodes :Origin of the Sorceress, The Shadow of Skeletor, The Arena, Into the Abyss, The Rainbow Warrior, Three on a Dare, Battlecat, Not So Blind, Teela's Triumph and the fan favourite The Problem with Power in which we witness He-Man say " Let the Power return " as he transforms back into Prince Adam.Well worth a purchase and what better way to pass 3 hours plus than in 80's kid heavenly nostalgia.The only downside is that as the last episode credits roll and the menu pops up, you are left wanting more.

This was just as good today as it was when I was a kid, it doesn't bother me the animation isn't up to modern standards because it's what I remember, will rewatch every episode over and over again.

Brilliant he man and she ra is one of my favourite cartoons of the 80s this came in a decent case with a shiny cardboard sleeve over the top,it's got all the shows from season 2 plus extras and for the price much better buying it from usa who always have better deals and more for your money then us brits get.
