What does the "unflavored" flavor taste like?

It doesn’t taste good but I read that this is the best tasting unflavored one. Kind of like a strong powdered milk taste. I mix 2 scoops with 1 cup fairlife high protein nonfat milk and use a milk frother to get all the lumps out. (Works great) Then I add 1 dark chocolate Atkins protein shake to flavor it. It’s definitely not too bad if it’s ice cold and gives you 78 grams of protein. I only drink 1/2 or 1/3 of the mix at one time though.

How long does it stay good for once opened

I only use protein powder for oatmeal/pancakes/baking, around 5-10g per serving. I get enough protein from my diet, so I sparingly used this product. Even 2-3 months after opening the bag the powder tastes and looks the same, I didn't noticed clumping or loss in quality (but I do store it in a cool dry place).

For those that have had the unflavored powder, is there anything that you can compare the taste to?

Isopure has a clean taste, almost completely free of off-tastes present even in nonfat milk powder, such as silage and hints of funky barnyard odors/tastes.
