Necessary travel accessory for me!
Love these things! I have very small ear canals and they close and hurt terribly during flight, especially during descent over humid areas. These mechanically prevent closure and save me from major pain on flights!

GET THEM!!! Prevents my head from feeling like it will explode!
If you have any pain or discomfort in your ears when you fly, you need these. Taking Sudafed ahead of the flight/landing helps me some but Earplanes is the only thing that works completely and reliably. Plus I prefer to avoid medicine if possible. I have been using these for years and the latest version seems to work even better, are more comfortable, and easier to get in my ears. Without these my head feels like it’s going to explode during landing. I always make sure I have a stash in case I need to take an impromptu flight. They really muffle noise so it’s annoying trying to hear others or music/tv. Because of this I end up taking them out on longer flights after we get to cruising altitude and then I keep an eye on the time so that I put them back in an hour before landing per the instructions. For flights 3 hours or less, I keep them in for the whole flight. Before you insert the Earplanes, make sure to pinch your nose and blow in case your ears need popping. This will make them work best and they will prevent painful popping during the flight.

Husband like these/Cat eats these….🐱😂😂
It has been a little harder finding this style of earplug for my husband, but this is the ONLY one he likes! They stay in his ear and are pretty comfortable. They are pretty good for noise-reduction (I snore like a chainsaw). They aren’t TOTALLY sound-proof, so don’t expect that. They are good quality, and it is nice to have more than just one pair in the box. Downside: for some reason, my kitty just LOVES these things!!! He tries to dig them out of my husband’s ears so he can eat them (WHAT?!? Are these catnip coated, or what???😂😂😂). He’s been pretty successful lately, so I will be buying more fairly soon….

UNBELIEVABLE
These are incredible. Flew home after a collapsed eustation tube trama the week before and had no pain. Flew since and never even felt the need to pop my ears. Unfortunately caught covid on vacation and had to fly home after the 5th day- my head and ears were NOT well enough to fly but I had to get home and we were on Hawaii. I put these in and hoped for the best. Due to my old trama I did have slight ear pain and pressure but I know that if these were not in I absolutely would have had a burst eardrum. These saved my ears- if you at all have ear problems when flying I would 100% try these.

A must-have if your ears don't like pressure changes!
About 24 years ago I was pretty put off flying. The pain I'd endure, along with the likelihood of having to go to an ENT to get my eardrum lanced, was pretty deterring. Connecting flights - when you have to depressurize, repressurize, and repeat all over again was the kiss of death for me. With this product, those concerns are in the past. I'm happy to say they gave me back the joy of travel... even as airlines do so much to take it away! But then this isn't a review of airline food or seat comfort, this is about ear comfort and medical necessity. OH and by the way, the company making these also makes them for children. Can I offer the view that it's practically child abuse to make a kid fly without EarPlanes? I remember the pain I had when a child, it was truly excruciating. Don't let that happen to your children. Have some empathy. Ear pain in flight is probably 75% of why babies cry on planes. You won't look back. I have no reason to lie to you.

Works well.
I mostly use these when in a bus or in subway station where loud announcements by MBTA come on frequently. One plug usually enough to make the sound tolerable. They stay in well. Only problem is they're easy to lose.

Don't Fly Without These!
I have been using earplanes for over 10 years. I use them for 2 round trip flights without a problem. My ears have not stuffed or popped on an airplane once since I discovered these. I can't say enough about them. It may take a try or two to get used to placing them in your ear, but it is well worth it. Their little pressure relieving filter is the key. I have tried knock offs, don't bother.

I have a deformity in my ears that means flying can cause extreme pain & pressure to the point where my ears have bled on flights before. I had low expectations for these as I've tried everything at this point Took a 3.5 hour flight in October and these worked like a dream! I honestly did not have one millisecond of pain which amazed me. They're comfortable to wear and reduce the noise around you as well
