FIREWOOD - Crackling Wood Burning Fireplace Candle in Amber Jar with Lid New 8 oz. Since 2012

This candle is great. The wooden wick really does crackle when it's burning, giving that homey fireplace feel. The crackle isn't loud like a fireplace's would be, but it's a great substitute for those of us who don't have fireplaces. The scent isn't exactly like that of burning firewood, but it's close. That's the only reason I've rated it less than 5 stars. Then again, I bought this candle 2.5 years ago, so I'm more than willing to give it another try. I'd be more than willing to keep buying this candle over and over, even if the scent isn't changed/improved.Long story short, if you're looking for a candle that smells great and sounds like a muted fireplace, get this one.

It’s close, it’s like a spicy fireplace smell which balances it a bit. It smells like a fireplace in a home and not like a campfire the next day in your clothes, which is a plus. I love fireplace smell but for some reason when we do a fire pit outside I wanna gag the next day the way the clothes smell. Anyway, I like it, for some reason I’m having a problem getting a good flame from this wick, haven’t had that problem with this product before. It’s priced a little high but the shipping was free. Best wood burning smell I ever found in a candle. Put them on my electric fireplace mantle and it smells like it's burning wood, without all the smoke and soot. I do not like the wick which may make a better scent but I don't want the smoke. I use a candle warmer.

It smells fantastic! Just like a wood fire. We have a gorgeous fireplace in a vintage home, and due to building restrictions we can’t have a real fire, so we bought a electric fireplace and placed it inside the mantel, it looks so real! We always get compliments, and it takes a while for the guests to realize it isn’t real. This is also due to this fantastic candle, that smells great, makes even a cracking sound when burns, the wood wick doesn’t smoke, lasts a long time, simply great! We reordered more. I highly recommend this candle, especially being natural made of soywax

Fireplace/Campfire scent is my #1 fav for candles. I have tried many different candles and most have too much of a cologne or pine scent for me. This one smells just like a fireplace fire in the best way.I will con't to buy this one even though it's a bit pricey.It does look elegant, too.

I should have paid more attention to the size description. I gave this as a gift and when I saw it was very disappointed at the size of the jar for the price I paid. It also did not last very long. It does smell exactly as described and was used in conjunction with an electric fireplace but I don't think I will order again.

This candle smells good, but sweeter than I'd expect for woodsmoke. I like it fine, but if you were really trying for firewood smoke, then I would keep looking. On the other hand, I've not found a candle that smells exactly like woodsmoke. I do like the Illume woodfire, but it's rather pricey.

We replaced our wood burning fireplace and love the new gas one. However, we are missing the smell and crackling of a real wood fire. In reading the reviews I thought I would give this a try. Not impressed with the size for the price. The smell is a little off too. I am not sure what I was expecting, but probably would not purchase again. It is not that the quality isn't there, it just, as said earlier, pricey and not the smell I expected.
