I love the appearance they produce through glass. I have bought them for Christmas gifts I intend to make therefore have not fully tested the life of the batteries yet. I do think they are value for money and hope to be ordering more.

I've used lots of similar string lights in the past, and these are absolutely fine. Each string has 20 LED's on it, spaced approximately 10cm apart, giving an overall length of around 2.1 meters.The wire is silver in colour, and the lights give off a warm white light. They take two CR2032 batteries (supplied) and for safety, the battery compartments are screwed shut so children can't get to them. Although the lights themselves are waterproof, the battery compartment isn't.I've only used them up to around 6 hours, but battery life seems good.

Only switched them on for a few hours a day for about a week and they died! Very disappointed
