Yes, one of the positions is at a 90 degree angle. Then probably a 45, then really low, so you can work off the flat wooden foot board on the end.

How high is it without the shoulder/neck rests and risers? Would it fit under a bed with only about 7.5 inches of clearance? Thanks!

From floor to the top of the carriage, it is just under 9" (so unfortunately it wouldn't fit under a bed with 7.5" of clearance). (From the floor to the top of the shoulder rests (foam pads) and floor to the top of the pulley risers (on the back where the straps go through), it is 15" high.)
