We got this gift for my brother who is a carpenter. After reading the reviews, we thought it was a smart choice. My brother liked it and was polite when we gave it to him. But a few weeks later we saw him and he said these gloves were extremely useful and he didn’t realize how convenient they would be. They know have a permanent spot in his tool box.

Great tools to have on hand. Household repairs, car work, night walkint/running, small crafting.
These things are great! Mine made their maiden voyage while I was fixing (then replacing) our dishwasher. They give off enough light to be helpful which is hard to finagle in tight spots.My two criticisms: I would like the material to be more substantial (like work gloves, these are like swimsuit material) and give more light. I could see back toward the wall from the front of the dishwasher about half way. Stronger light would be better.*Bonus suggestion* if these things had a magnet for screws they would be so baller.Great for appliance repairs, car work, night walking/running (they fit over gloves!), cross stitch, jewelry making, and so on.

Worked well. Bright light. Comfortable
These are great so far. Although I have a friend that has had issues with them, I thought I'd give them a try myself. These worked well. I hope my husband finds them as helpful as I thought they would be.

LED lights are not aligned with the fingers
I bought a second pair of the gloves because they are extremely helpful, but this pair has the finger on one hand pointing 30 degrees away from the finger tip and the other hand the thumb light is pointing 30 degrees to the side as well. If the light is not pointing where the tool is i can not use them. I am an electrician and when i have to turn my hand in a live box to illuminate where my meter test leads are going to touch i can not risk touching a live connection in the box. Check the gloves when you get them to verify the lights are aimed down the fingers.

he liked them -- but doesn't use them.
husband liked them. and used them for about 2 weeks. then I notice he's back to flashlights . . .he says. using flashlights is a habit and he's old to learn a new thing. yes he does like them... but he doesn't think of them when he's doing a job. .
