THE ADVERT SAYS A PACK OF 2 , But how on earth can you claim that its a pack of 2 when all you sent was 2 different sides of the same connector?. What is being advertised is actually 1 connector because with out both pieces all you have is 2 wires going into one connector that is not connected to anything.if you need connectors to make 1 connection you cannot claim that this is a pack of 2. My advice is just get the thing off Ebay coz you can get the exact same thing from china at a fraction of the price. Waste of money

You will absolutely need a hydraulic crimper to use this connection. I bought a manual type and it didn't even begin to crimp. Don't trust the cheap hammer smashers for crimping these either. Do it right and get the proper hydraulic crimper. Also, the cover retaining cable was too short to go around the cable and back on the connector. I used a zip tie to attach the cable loop through a mounting bolt hole in the connector body. That worked fine but would have been better if it was longer.

I ran 8 AWG wire from my car battery to a trailer winch. I needed a way to disconnect it and only connect it as needed. This did the trick. Super easy. Pay attention how you insert the metal pieces into the plastic body but other than that, super easy.
