Rare Egyptian Anubis Dog Memorial Urn Canopic Jar

I recently lost my beloved dog 2 weeks ago. I came across this Urn and was instantly drawn to it. There's no better way to honor my Boss Hog than to send him to the afterlife with Anubis to protect him until I get to be with him again.My fur baby was 74lbs and his ashes fit in this urn. It is very well made and absolutely gorgeous. It was received very well packaged. If you are drawn to this Urn I highly recommend it. I am extremely happy with this purchase and so happy to have my Boss Hog on my Altar.

If you're looking for urns, there's a high possibility you're feeling just as devastated as I was when I was shopping for this 2 months ago. My deepest and most sincere sympathy, whoever you are, if you've just lost your dog.My dear husky Frank was with me 15 years. I wanted to find an urn that would be really special for him. It felt right to place his remains in an urn of Anubis, because in Egyptian mythology, Anubis was kind of a patron saint to the dead, who helped them cross over. If you're drawn to this urn you may already be aware of what is represented by Anubis, but if not I thought I'd mention it. I find the symbolism behind it somehow comforting, maybe you will too.The urn is beautifully crafted and solid. We used blue Loctite to seal it and the lid sealed perfectly. The designer of this urn did an exceptional job of depicting Anubis in a way that also captures the features of a domestic dog. Frank was 64 lbs when he passed away, and his remains fit just fine.

This is so much better than I ever even imagined it could be. A perfect resting place for my lil mama, we called her Annubis puppa. Amazingly done, sturdy, good weight, and absolutely gorgeous

I almost never give a 5 star. But this was perfect! Better than expected. Larger, heavier, better craftsmanship than expected the picture doesn't do it justice. I bought this as an urn for my dearly deceased Min-Pin. Anubis the Egyptian God of the dead was my first thought and I found this wonderful piece of art and it is perfect for her ashes. The lid is really nice and ornate, even though it doesn't seal, screw or snap it just fits and sits in place and has a nice weight to it. I'll add a little hot glue in the well to seal it no problem. For the price it's like stealing

A fine and distinguished resting place for my fallen animal friends. It seems brittle and I imagine it would not survive a fall.

If you are wondering whether or not to buy this, then I would suggest you buy it. There will be no regrets. It is a quality piece and it will bring comfort to know your beloved pet is in such a beautiful and intricate design.

Beautiful urn. Could not fit all of the ashes for my shepherd Dracula aka Drac in there. Just wish it was bigger. Going to get a blown glass design with the remaining ashes.
