I'm planning for months a long vacation to Colorado mountains. I own a new Tacoma TRD Pro, to witch I added a second battery, solar panels, fridge, compressor, truck bed cap with rack and cab rack. For the first time I've seen a hard shell roof top tent, was like the perfect set up for me. Only seconds to open, light weight, very aerodynamic but the model I saw on YouTube was over 5 K, from a portugais manufacturer. So, I started looking for a used one, everywhere. Because my vacation was approaching I prepared myself to pay more but absolutely not 5 K. Unexpectedly, the best price was on Amazon, not Ebay, and the seller had also a tent with a damaged package, so he offered this one for a very attractive price. I took the chance, few days later I got the tent but the top shell and the seal was damaged. I contacted the seller and told him about damages, I told him I want to keep and repair the tent and he send me a new seal and $200 back in my account. I took all the rivets out of the shell I insulated with 2 layers of Reflectix R21 double reflective and a marine carpet for a nice finish, I put back new rivets and, voilà, I have the tent I wanted so much for a very good price and probably the most insulated hard shell roof top tent. Best customer experience, best value for the money, excellent tent.

I came back to change my review I gave of only one star because originally they had sent me the wrong tent. Since then, the company has come back twice now at different times to make it right by me to make sure I am now completely satisfied. And I am as of this review. The tent is similar to one i have on my other vehicle except this one is triangular shaped instead of rectangular and it works the same and has the same nice cushion mattress and sheets and easy hard shell design to open and close. I appreciate that the company went the extra mile to keep checking back to see if I’m happy now.
