These stands are the absolute best! I searched for hours to find something that would work for me & these have exceeded my expectations! They're very sturdy. They have little grooves to keep your laptop from moving around/sliding. There are various size holes in the side if you want to keep your cords contained neatly. The stands come with these little plastic "caps" that have adhesive on the ends so that you can attach them to your desk and then slide the stand into the cap end. (I don't use the adhesive cap ends because I tend move my laptop into different areas of the desk.) The stands are wide enough to provide adequate stable support for any size laptop. (My laptop is 17".) Obviously they can be used for any size laptop, tablet, phone, etc due to their design. Overall I am beyond impressed with these stands & very happy that I ordered them. There are 6 in the package, so enough to use with multiple devices. They're definitely a great product, especially for the price! I primarily wanted them to lift my laptop to enable a little extra airflow & I feel like they are doing exactly what I need them to do. I initially looked into cooling pads with fans, but I was concerned that cooling pad fans would just blow extra dust into my laptop's bottom. The shipping was super fast, I had them in a matter of days after ordering.

Needed some way to prop up a video camera at an angle on a shelf in a meeting room. Found these online and a couple of these do the trick to angle the camera downward to capture people sitting at the table for board meetings. They are somewhat larger than I thought by the picture, but work great for my needs. Very sturdy but flexible; would be easy to pack in a laptop case.

Light. Compact. Durable. Works on any solid surface. Keeps your laptop at an incline so that the battery heat can ventilate properly. It does its job perfectly. Two thumbs up.

If you don't move your station around constantly, this is hands down the best approach at an ergonomic form factor for laptops. Unlike other stations, this product can be adjusted simply by moving the laptop higher up on the wedge or lower if you feel it's at a high angle. I've tried other prop up laptop stands and those are almost always misses since the angles they are set at are just way too high or the rubber on the stands fall apart after a few uses.Having it made out of durable rubber also allows for no slipping which is really nice on a smooth desk.Another thing I might add is, they send you three pairs...yes, three pairs. I have one at my office, one at my home desk, and I gave one away to a friend that was instantly intrigued in the product.It's a huge bargain and I recommend this 100%. The laptop I use is a MacBook Pro 13-inch and it worked flawlessly.

Literally thought that I would burn my fingers off at times. I checked out several different options on how to keep the laptop cool, but since I bounce back and forth around the house from my desk to the dining room table, to the couch, I didn't want to drag around another object to keep the laptop elevated.Then I saw the Smart Stands and thought - THESE ARE PERFECT! I didn't have to worry about whether a stand would be too short or too wide for my laptop, I could place these anywhere I needed them to be, and they would automatically grip the surface and keep the laptop from sliding around while I pounded out article after article.In my haste to order, I didn't even realize that I was getting 6 stands! I thought I was ordering just 1 pair - so when they arrived and I had 3 pairs total - that was just a triple win! Now my son has a pair and my husband has a pair for their laptop too!They fit perfectly underneath my laptop, and it has not heated up ONCE since I've had them! These are a little bit larger than I expected, given the preview images, but the shape means that isn't a big issue.No, the only issue I really have with these is that they have very little grip, which is surprising given the rubber material. My laptop simply slides down over time, and the product seems to slide on both wooden and plastic tables.Otherwise, the design is fine, they do the job, they prop up the laptop to improve ventilation and even have large holes to allow air to pass through the prop itself.

I own a Dell Latitude E6530. When I bought it 6 years ago, it came with a docking station which props up my laptop. Then I buy the Dell Latitude 5501 which comes with no docking station so it lays flat...certainly not good for my back and neck as I work on my PC all day long! I took HOURS over the weekend searching. The screen on my laptop is my monitor and so I did not need a riser or other items I found here and on YouTube and other places. Some of the reviews threw me so I almost didn't buy, but I'm glad that I did. I will not use these in my day to day BUT I will use when I am out and about. The fact that you get 6 is great so you can put them in different places you may need them. The reason I won't use them as my day to day is only because I found 2 others on Amazon that works better for me in my business. I've been disappointed in the past when I have bought things that seem too good to be true but not in this case. I think these will be great travel stands!! Sometimes the most simple inventions are the most useful!

I bought this product to keep my laptop from overheating, since the fans are placed on the bottom of the computer and it worked great. I can easily type on the laptop without it being too high for my hands and the product is well made.
