Why do I need cycle specific shorts? If you've ever spent a long time in the saddle you'll know how uncomfortable wearing casual shorts can be. They chafe, fit poorly and offer little mobility. Cycling shorts make all the difference. Padded Chamois Most cycling shorts come with a padded insert known as a chamois. This insert relieves pressure in your sensitive areas and stops numbness. Anatomical Cut Bike shorts are anatomically designed, often with a longer and higher cut at the back for when you’re in a riding position. This means you have a far more comfortable ride. Lycra shorts will be snug with some stretch for aero performance and mobility. Casual baggies offer maximum freedom of movement for demanding trail riding. Technical Fabrics Cycle shorts use performance fabrics such as lycra and nylon. Lycra is quick wicking to help transfer moisture away from the body. Nylon is bombproof for durable riding. These fabrics offer some stretch for added mobility and flat stitching is smooth against your skin to reduce chafing.

Fit nice if you have thick thighs. Very loose otherwise.
Fits well and made of decent material. I have thick thighs and 40" waist. If you have thin legs these will be very loose on you. If your like me and have problems fitting into anything but loose jeans or shorts then these will likely fit you properly. If not you may find them very loose. The Padding is strange in that the padding is thick in the rear where you need it but very thin elsewhere. The material felt like it will hold up well and it was tight while not feeling too tight. The legs didn't slide up at all and the waist fit decently. Suspect that the waist band will wear out with repeated washing but certainly worth the price.

very comfortable and reasonably stylish
Hubby wore them for a 26 mile bike trek and said they were really quite comfortable. Other than being chided by some of the younger crowd for wearing bike shorts, he felt they were very comfortable and reasonably stylish. They washed well and are ready for the next trip.

Seems well made, good fit and comfort. Reasonable price and quick shipping. Long term durability unknown but after two washes no issues.

Excellent bike shorts
Very good fit, excellent material. Would prefer the 3D gel a bit thinner, but on the bike it works great and after a 20 mile job I felt great with no numbness or discomfort.

Value shorts
First time I wore them the reflective chevrons came off the leg. Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come. Twenty mile ride was very comfortable. The price was right, the padding is comfortable, overall a good biking short. Will be buying another pair. 5 star
