Great practice amp with wide flexibility in tones!
Love it. I recently got a new guitar and was really disappointed by the tone I was getting out of it when using a cheap multi-effects pedal and basic amp. I didn't know if it was the guitar or the pedal/amp, so I plugged in my Mustang mini to check. Massive improvement in sound! I've since determined the cheap pedal's digital processing is pretty dodgy. That got me thinking, I really like the Mustang mini sound but it only outputs to headphones, Fender must use the same processing in something else. A quick search showed there's a whole Mustang line that has all of the same multi-effects as the mini, but in amp format. I just use for practice (no one would ever pay to hear ME play, trust me) so the 25 watt was more than enough. Some of my favorite things about this amp: - tone, tone and tone. The muti-effects software isn't brittle like the cheap multi-effects pedal I had, soooo much better sound. - the amp and speaker are decent and Fender pays attention to sound/tone. It's a great sounding amp in its "clean" (no processing) setting. - the software connected immediately to the amp, no muss, no fuss. Plug it in and the software found it immediately and connected. I could never get the cheap multi-effects pedal to connect to its own software, so this was important to me. - Fender's Fender Tone software is really cool, and very clever they way they integrated the PC software with the on-amp controls. I don't think you can add effects beyond what is provided, and there are some limits to the way you mix and match effects, but more than enough to keep a beginner like me happy and able to recreate most of the tones I hear on recordings. You can have your guitar plugged in, amp connected to the software and make changes on the software which you immediately hear when playing the amp. Makes experimentation a breeze. - The settings actually sound different! There are 30 pre-sets, and slots for 30 more you customize. You can access a pre-set, make changes to it, and save it to a new slot without overwriting the stock one. The cheap multi-effects boasted tons of pre-sets, but they all sounded pretty much the same. Not so this this little guy! The only knock is that it was designed before USB C became a standard, so you connect to the computer with min-USB. That's fine for now but ten years from now I can see having to search for the right mini-USB cable as that standard slowly goes away. No effect on functionality today though know you'll want to be sure to have a mini-USB cable to connect. If you're a pro or really focused on analog tone modification through pedals, this probably wouldn't be your universal amp, but for a beginner or a pro wanting a kick around versatile amp, hard to imagine a better setup. Value-wise, it gave me a good sounding amp with the ability to modify sound without having to buy a couple dozen pedals.

Great learning/practice amp.
The Mustang LT25 is an excellent little amp. It's a modeling amp, meaning it can emulate a variety of specific amplifiers and effects pedals. It comes with 50 preset sounds spanning the history of country and rock, but all of them can be modified or replaced entirely. I selected this amp primarily because it's small and can model all of the classic Fender amps from the 50s to now. I figured if anyone can create good emulations of Fender amps, it would be Fender. Fender also makes some good pedals, so I figured they would use the same technology in this amp too. I found this a great way to explore the sounds of various pedals and effects without having to buy them. The sound quality is very good. You can explore sounds with this amp as much as you want or don't want. If you just want to play, pick a sound, tweak it, and ignore the rest. If you want to explore different sounds, you can do that too. I've spent hours experimenting with the Fender emulations and pedal sounds and learning the amp. I've hardly touched the other types of amps yet. If I ever want to get a stage amp, I'll pretty much know what sound I want. If you want to get even more into creating/exploring sounds, you can move up the Mustang GT line. They are much more capable and versatile, but more expensive too. I give Fender kudos for creating this amp. It's built well, sounds good, and provides a wonderful way to explore at low cost. The LT25 also gives you a USB out port that you can connect to a PC. This is a great learning tool. With some free audio editing software like Audacity, you can make high quality recordings of your playing for critical evaluation. All in all, a great learning tool.

Great practice amp with versatile tones
The Fender Mustang LT25 is an excellent amp for home practice and beginners. It has a wide variety of built-in presets and effects, making it really fun to experiment with different tones without needing extra pedals. The sound quality is clear and surprisingly powerful for its size, and it’s more than enough for practicing in a room or small space. The controls are simple and intuitive, with a small screen that makes it easy to switch between settings. It’s also lightweight and compact, so moving it around is no problem. Of course, it’s not meant for large gigs or very loud environments, but for learning, practicing, and even light recording, it’s perfect. Great value for the price and a solid choice for guitarists who want versatility in a small package.

Top notch!
Not an expert, but not a rookie either. For this price range i don't think this will be beat! Excellent sound quality, and it'll get pretty loud too. I put the volume about half way and it would be plenty loud for a large bar or small venue. Can't imagine full blast. It comes with 30 Presets that are awesome and free downloading software that will give you 100 MORE presets. There's no reason to choose another amp over this one unless you're literally a rock star playing in a very large arena. Oh and I have the Mustang LT25 which doesn't have Bluetooth but still can connect to a computer to record. (Probably want to look into an audio interface if you're serious about recording though) Also a 3.5mm jack for headphones and another 3.5mm for Aux. A 6.5mm for guitar, bass, etc and another 6.5mm for a foot pedal. Not familiar with that and had to look up what FTSW meant but that's it, that slot is for a foot pedal. Oh, in addition to the onboard 30 presets there's 30 additional slots to program your own. It's got more things than I truly understand, incl tremolo, delay and reverb and a few others. My box even came in damaged but not a scratch on my unit.

Almost but not quite a 5-star amp
The Fender Mustang LT25 is a solid practice amp with a lot of great features for the price. The 30 preset effects are a huge plus, offering plenty of tonal variety, and the USB audio interface makes recording a breeze. The 25-watt output is perfect for home use, and the build quality feels sturdy. That said, there’s still something more to be desired—it’s almost a 5-star amp but falls just short. The effects, while plentiful, can sometimes feel a bit digital or artificial compared to higher-end modeling amps. The interface is user-friendly, but tweaking settings beyond the presets isn’t as intuitive as it could be. A little more refinement in the sound quality and deeper editing options would push this amp into true standout territory. Overall, it’s a great value for beginners and intermediate players, but with a few improvements, it could be exceptional. Still, for the price, it’s hard to complain too much!

Best amp I've ever owned
This amp has everything you could ask for, decent price, quality build, beautiful sounds, and the ability to use presets and even add more via PC is incredible. My favorite preset is the space travel. That is an incredible sound! I don't remember hearing that effect on any of the songs I usually listen to, which perked my interest right away. I also love the 60's buzz preset because I'm trying to learn Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand and it helps make that sound a lot more authentic. 5 stars buy this amp now, you won't be disappointed!

I Couldn’t Ask for More
A really great, compact amp. Plenty of effects and fine tuning for them. Great for any level of experience, and it’s definitely the best bang for your buck!

small and capable
I had the Fender Mustang V2. Probably for 5 or 6 years. It did a great job and I was very satisfied with it. But, with daily use, it was just breaking down. Not the speaker, I usually play through ear phones. But the channels became staticky and many of them had no volume at any setting. The tuner stopped working. Well, it wasn't hugely expensive since it was "only" a solid state modeling amp. Still I was surprised that a SS amp would deteriorate like that. When the new LT-25 arrived, I was shocked by how much smaller it is than the V2, tiny by comparison. But when I tried it out, heck it is plenty loud. As reviewers commented, it seems "bassy" when played through the main speaker. Less so of course through the headphones. I hooked it up to Fender Tone and see "Tone" is very similar to "Fuse", which I uninstalled. Tone has all the typical pedals digitized, so you don't need your "real" ones. You can take the pedal out of the modeled sounds and substitute a different pedal or amp. Pretty cool and fun to play with. I haven't yet tried to customize the sound, though it wouldn't be hard to do. A professional player needs his own tone, but I really don't have one, though I stay away from metal style distortion. Clean, with overdrive and reverb. I just have the small LT in my guy room and it's a great box to practice with. I have played for decades but never professionally. I have a tube amp, a Fender Blues Deluxe, but it sits unused. It doesn't have a headphone jack, so I don't even bother to turn it on. When I did use it, I really wasn't blown away with its tone, though the tube amps cost much more. To me, these modeling amps sound better, but as I say, that's in a small room. A big room might demand the tubes, I wouldn't know. I don't know about the warmer tone that tube snobs say they prefer. I'm pleased with the little LT-25, as all the reviewers appear to be, and buying it did "fix" all the problems I was having with the Mustang V2. Now how to recycle the Mustang V2??

Fantastico!

Amazing Amp
I have had this amp for well over a year now and the presets are quite neat! There are many to pick from and you can easily find tutorials for presets to make so you can make the amp sound just like your favourite song! It has a great peak volume and as a newer guitar player, It has been an amazing amp! I highly recommend this amp.
