Effective laundry soap
I’ve used Zote Pink bar soap primarily for laundry and stain pre-treatment, and it has performed very well. The bar is solid and long-lasting, and it lathers easily when rubbed directly onto fabric or dissolved in warm water. It’s especially effective on tough stains like grease, sweat, and dirt—after scrubbing lightly, I noticed a clear improvement even before washing. The soap has a very mild, clean scent that doesn’t linger after rinsing, which makes it a good option for people who are sensitive to strong fragrances. It rinses out thoroughly and didn’t leave any residue or stiffness on my clothes. I also appreciate how versatile this bar is. It can be used for hand-washing delicate items, spot-treating stains, or even general household cleaning. The packaging is simple and practical, and the bar size is easy to handle. Overall, this is a reliable, effective laundry soap that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a straightforward, multipurpose cleaning bar that delivers consistent results.

For cleaning makeup brushes, Zote is the GOAT!
This is my tried and true makeup brush cleaner for more than 5 years. It gets out all but the very most stubborn pigments (glaring at a particular matte teal shade in my collection) but it's not overly harsh. It's also great at cleaning brushes and sponges that have been used with oil- or emollient-based products like concealers and many foundations. I have yet to experience any skin irritation from using brushes I washed with Zote (of course, you do need to rinse your brushes thoroughly). A bar will last me almost 2 years, even using it weekly, so you can't beat the price per use, especially compared with makeup brands' official brush cleaners--many of which aren't as effective. The soap itself does smell kinda like a laundromat (which... yeah), but that smell doesn't transfer to the brushes. So if you want a good, dependable, affordable makeup brush cleaner, Zote is your baby.

Great for oil stains
Oil on a shirt? Rub the bar on it so the fibers get the zote on it (toothbrush and water to later help!) and you’ve got a clean shirt after a generic wash. Cracked up at how well it got vegetable oil out of a shirt. 10000000/10 purchase; the enzymes break down in a way that makes Zout look like garbage. Great product (and great catfish bait! They love strong smells)!

Great soap
Good blue for the money, does excellent for stains, the size is like an ordinary bar soap, it has a nice scent and it’s easy to use. I’ve been using it for 20+ years. Works as good as and even better than the high priced fancy ones.

Been using it for 3 years now for my beauty blender/sponges & works great!
I've been using this for about 3 years now, mostly for my beauty blender/sponges. It removes ALL products from any sponge I've used it on (which is a lot of diff brands as I'm not too picky) including cream blushes which are common to stain sponges. I guess it makes sense now that I think about it, as it's a laundry soap! 😉 I use it on some of my harder to clean makeup brushes, mainly foundation and powder ones that get caked up in product. I don't use it on my eyeshadow brushes since I never put those directly under any water which is needed to rinse the soap out. But it works great on the bigger ones. I prefer this 10x over dish soap. Dish soap does "work" per say, but nowhere near the way this does. I always find dish soap is really difficult to rinse out of the sponge and often doesn't remove the product fully. This is how I use it to clean sponges: First, I put the bar of soap under the faucet for a split second to get the surface damp. Then I get the sponge completely soaked in water and I DON'T wring it out (this is key IMO for easier/quicker rinsing). Then rub against the bar of soap on all the spots that have product and immediately wring, rinse and repeat until the water runs clear. Continue this process and your sponge will be spiffy and clean! The product is so gentle and very lightly scented you hardly even smell it on the sponge. Esp if you have aversion to stronger scents, as I definitely do. It's pleasant and super light. Also have never noticed any skin irritation from it at all. I break out somewhat easy so I know this definitely has never caused that in all this time! Using it the way I have, one bar of soap lasted me a year this last time since it was during the pandemic & I wasn't wearing makeup anywhere near as often as I used to. The bar before that one probably lasted me a good 6 months at LEAST. I still have a couple tiny pieces I'm using though. For the price you absolutely cannot go wrong!
