Know where to put the incense for it to work
it came with no instructions, so I had to go back to the order and closely examine the photos. It goes on the top and over the little hole. Also, it has to be placed in a location where there is no air movement or it won't work either. When all this is done properly it works like a charm and is very beautiful to watch. The cones that I bought with it really burn up fast though. But the burner itself is very very attractive.

What a big joke. If there is any movement in room the smoke will not trickle down the burner. not worth buying!
