A must have for celebrating Kwanzaa...
This book shows you how to celebrate Kwanzaa in your home with day by day details! Very informative and nice illustrations, as well. I'm very pleased and highly recommend it if you really plan to celebrate Kwanzaa as intended. I am a special education teacher and we celebrate Kwanzaa, Christmas and Hanukkah in the month of December. This book gave me ideas I was able to use in my classroom. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Kwanzaa
Overall, the book is paragon of how a family can celebrate Kwanzaa. The book gives example activities for umoja, kujichagulia, ujima, ujamaa, nia, kuumba, and imani. As a result, Ms. Taylor has planned your Kwanzaa program for you. In addition, Kwanzaa: How to Celebrate it Your Home have given some ideas of how I can expand the Kwanzaa Celebration in my own home.. But, I did have one problem with the book; I wish the authors would have explained more about why they spelled Africa with a K.
