I am taking the time to write a review on my recent purchase of two LED camping lights.I purchased these lights on Amazon and they came from Winner Outfitters.Starting with though not a direct reflection on the product, I will say they arrived quickly and were packaged in such a way to assure there was unlikely to be any damage in shipping.The lights came with enough AA batteries for both (3 each) and were easy to install. A simple twist of the end cap and they were in. I did notice there was no O ring on the cap which tells me it is not a seal to ensure liquids have a difficult time entering. (Rain sometimes happens and do other mishaps) and since the cap is on the top of the light when the lantern is operated this may be an eventual concern, but only real life use will demonstrate this.As far as the brightness of the light in lantern mode, it is very bright. In full daylight it is clearly visible and intense to look at. At night it lights up a 16x14 wall tent easily (I know this is also due to light reflection off the tent but it does a great job)Outside at a picnic table it easily lit u the entire table making it easy for all to see. This was after moonrise on a partially cloudy night with only a few stars visible. There was a camp fire nearby but we tried to stay outside it’s light influence to get a clear idea of the effectiveness.Inside a house it lit a 24x14 room, which would be perfect in a power outage.The first time I turned on the flashlight, I was unimpressed. However that was in a well lit room, and because I spent have my career working in the dark most of my flashlights are 1200 Lums or more. But I waited until night and gave it a second chance.I was happy that to say the focused led light beam is brighter than I believed at first. I am guessing it is around 250 -300 lums which is quite adequate for most uses.The strap for carrying in flashlight mode seems sturdy and durable. A bonus it is completely out of the way in lantern mode.The product is made of light weight plastic, which worries me about its durability it dropped or knocked off a picnic table. Again that will hopefully never happen and for the sake of a review I won’t test it out.However, at the price if it does break you are not out very much.Am I satisfied - well I originally purchased these as gifts for two of our kids to have in their dorm rooms as an emergency light. I am now planing or ordering 8 more. Two for our other two kids in their college homes (that’s right four college age kids) and then one for each of their vehicle trunks (emergency use) and/or camping lights.I would suggest to anyone to purchase this light for similar use.

Bought a 2 pack of these lanterns last year to use at our mountain lot which is totally off the grid. Didn't know what kind of quality to expect from such a cheap price but was pleasantly surprised at the quality and functionality of these little lantern/flashlight combos. We had friends visit over a long weekend and they borrowed one for the night. They were blown away at how convenient and functional these lanterns are. They want to buy some for themselves but right now, Amazon says they are currently unavailable and don't know when to expect them to be back in stock. I want to buy a few more as you can't beat the price and quality anywhere!

I like the versatility of this product as a lantern or flashlight. Perfect for outdoor night time gatherings or extra light on the patio. You can slide the top to set the amount of light you want. Great for when Hurricane season hits again. Smaller than expected and made of plastic which doesn't seem durable. Appears cheap, but they work and very functional. Added bonus is the batteries included which actually work. Other products I've ordered which included batteries required immediate battery replacement.

Very well designed and engineered lamps for multiple uses. The flashlight part is very bright and the pull up lantern is also very bright and handy. The straps can be placed in multiple position so you can carry it as a flashlight but also use the straps to hangup.It even comes with batteries and the price is affordable. I just ordered another set for myself asn the first set was for another person. Very excellent product and there are 2 of them.I ordered three sets of these lanterns. The last set that arrived today only had one battery in the box as there are supposed to be a total of six. I hope the seller will solve my problem.

I bought many types of these.I have to say these are the best by far.They are brighter, last longer,plus the flashlight feature is awesome. These lantern lights are not just for camping.They are extremely versatile.I use them in my garage,in my attic.We lost the power for a few hours,due to these wacky storms up here(northeast America).I used four of these in my house.They lite up the whole house(so much my neighbors thought I had a generator). They are easy to carry(nice handle).One lasted about almost 9 hours of use. Thats pretty good to compared to the others at only 5 and a half hours.I have purchased many of these for gifts for Christmas ,for friends and family.They make a nice little gift and I know will be useful.I would Highly recommend these lantern's.

Very versatile little unit. The light beam is very bright and long reaching, and the lantern is very bright as well. I like that you can use the flashlight and lantern at the same time. I liked them so much, I bought a pair for my in-laws. It came in very handy for them. They have had 2-3 power outages the past few years, and these came in very handy. I also used them for an outage at my home to.

I love how bright the lanterns are, I ordered 2 packs of 2 however one of them never lit. Very disappointed with that however the actual light emitted from them is worth it as long as you get working ones.

Got this for my camping trip with my son and they worked great, I especially love the price :)Construction wise they seem ok, not extraordinary, certainly not complaining here, for the price you definitely come on top. Totally recommended.

Awesome light & torch kids can’t wIt go camp. Clever handle too as it moves depending upon use.
