Everything you would want to know about sewing and then some. I’m still learning to sew a straight line so this book will teach and guide me in my efforts. This book is encyclopedic in its breadth and very detailed in the descriptions. It seems to me to meet every possible need for a sewist.

Despite all of the sewing technique books around- older or new this is the best of all. As a dressmaker this is my go to book for any questions!

This is amazing. For the age of this book, it really is in excellent condition.

So the book is just what was described, it's a little worn but still in really good condition. It got to my place in a decent amount of time and was well packaged. The only problem is there was no slipcover. Considering what I paid for the book I'm not complaining about a slipcover, but it is definitely worth mentioning.

This is a classic sewing and couture book! I first bought this for myself decades ago when I'd gone to fashion design school to expand my dressmaking business--I wrote an inscription to myself in the book encouraging myself in my dreams and business. The book ended up getting ruined a few years later, and I've wanted a new copy ever since. This one came to me in perfect condition, and it's just as informative as I'd recalled. Love what are now vintage fashion photos!!!

This book will take you from start to Couture all in one book. I own many sewing books (majority vintage), all of them offer you some of the same techniques but Vogue also offers Couture information. In a day of electronic technology sometimes you just need a really detailed book to refer to, this is that book.

This book was a gift to my mother and she was thrilled to get it. There was a lot of great information for her and it was the kind of book that was hard for her to find. I'm grateful that there are sellers like this that can be found that have these kinds of books. The book was delivered very quickly and it was at a great price. I definitely would recommend this seller to others.
