The mare Cascade is based on the Connemara pony mold. She is gorgeous, with a beautiful blue color and glittery mane. Caspian is from the old Sea Star mold that came out in the 80s. He is not as nice looking as the mare since he is a vintage mold. However I am pleased with them.

I loooooove and grew up with Breyer, and recently got back into collecting them.I was super excited about these two since I'm a unicorn lover.HOWEVER... I'm saddened to see that the quality of Breyer has gone down somewhat. The paint on both the models had areas that looked like while it was still wet, had made contact with another object, causing the paint to be removed or distorted.I've noticed this on the last three Breyers I've bought, so it seems like a possible new norm for the company. It doesn't bother me to much, but when I'm paying s decent amount of money for a toy, I expect better.Other than the paint, the models were fine. I think the colours and models they chose for this unicorn set is probably one of my top favourites.

This unicorn set is gorgeous, traditional size, great value! Arrived fast. Easy to gift since they're in a box. Durable, well made. Cant go wrong with Breyer. The purple Color's, Glitter in mane n tail. Love these two.

The mare is absolutely stunning, the foal on the other hand is almost ugly. I’m assuming the foal is just a freebie. The face is not formed well at all and it looks almost lumpy.

Highly disappointed upon receipt of this item. The Breyer box had clearly been opened before (torn) and all the wires holding the horses in the box properly had been cut, so they were bouncing around inside the box the entire shipment. This item should not have been advertised as “new”.

Breyer unicorns are always eye catching, and this one especially! I'm so glad they used the Connemara pony model for this one, as I had already wanted it, and I'm glad I waited to get it when they released it as a unicorn!

These two are beautiful together and I am very happy with them. They are a beautiful addition to my unicorn family and also to my whole collection. The mare is beautiful and sparkly! Super cool! Her foal is very sweet too. Very happy with these unicorns.

This was my first time buying breyer. The mare is beautiful but the foal was a bit disappointing. The plastic is very lightweight. I don't mind but would have expected something sturdier for that amount of money. But still, the mare is very beautiful and pleasant to look upon!I don't know about the quality of plastic in other breyer horses tho and that's probably the norm for Breyer. I was merely surprised is all.
