Great value
I am never buying chai from the shop again. This tastes way better and great value for money. I do sometimes use 2 teabags as I like it strong.

Don't expect Dhaba style tea but acceptable if prepared properly
The tea has a strong fragrance when opened but overpowered by the cloves and peppers. The taste is quite bitter and nowhere near the tea you get from Chai wala, mii chai, etc. I haven't tried brewing it asian style by boiling it in milk but for a standard UK method of brewing in bioled water, it's too bitter and not nice for my taste. Sadly , fennel seeds are not even used which is the main spice that would have given a good fragrance. UPDATE: Tried it by boiling it in milk in a microwave and found that it tastes much better. Increased to 4 stars since it is very good as long as you make it in the asian style with boiled milk.
