Started getting an annoying squeak from the dryer, investigated and found the rollers were dry and breaking down. Put some bearing grease on the sleeves and let er rip. Got another 3 months out of it before it came back. Found these under $20 figured it was a no brainer. Just sucked having to take dryer allllllllll the way apart again. I've had this installed for a week or so about 20 loads- does the trick. I still put some high temp wheel bearing grease on the sleeves just for S and G. Time will tell if these will last as long as the oem maytag ones.

Replaced the rollers on my dryer. These were exact fit and if you had told me they were genuine maytag parts I would have believed you. I had originally replaced the belt to get rid of the squeal my dryer produced when I first started it. Unfortunately that was not the problem this time. If you think you need to get these rollers I would recommend getting a belt also. You need to remove the belt to be able to replace the rollers and it would make no sense to put an old belt back back on. Make sure you have snap ring pliers to remove the rings retaining the rollers on the shaft (they will make your life so much easier).

Have you found yourself so embarrassed because your dryer rumbles like thunder? Are you saddened by squeaks, squeals, bangs, booms, and thuds from your once quiet and happy clothes drying appliance? Chances are, your drum rollers have bit the dust and need to be replaced. This kit contains everything needed to replace the stock drum rollers with an OEM-like fitment. The rubber feels stronger on these rollers, and the bearings are a tiny bit noisier than OEM, but they roll very smoothly and very consistently. The shape and size are identical to OEM, and the only real difference is the fiber washers. In my install, I used the new fiber washers in the back where my originals were pretty much dissolved, and purchased some others to use in the front instead of the goofy flat bendy washers. The new clamps in this kit are way better than the OEM ones, and the thickness of the fiber washers is also greater than OEM. The replacement shafts are basically identical, with these having maybe an extra .5mm to 1mm length, which actually made installing extra fiber washers a breeze. My Maytag Neptune dryer has not been serviced properly prior to my owning it, and it still had its original drum rollers. Only one fiber washer was used on each side and only one goofy metal washer on each side. It sounds like some other models that other reviewers have mentioned contain two fiber washers instead, but this kit fit my machine perfectly and needed no extra parts. I only chose to use fiber washers the whole way around due to some bad experiences with heat, metal washers, and bearings in RC cars.

The parts arrived and were easy to install. Our dryer now works just fine. The only problem I had was with the waving washers that came with the kit. They didn't fit on the shaft and I ended up re-using my old waving washers.

My dryer started squealing pretty bad and I feared for the worst. 4 screws out and the dryer came apart. The culprit was a seized roller. This part fit perfectly and returned the dryer to normal quiet operation.

Absolute garbage. In less than three years, one of the wheels disintegrated in my dryer. The rubber flaked off in tiny little pieces that made a burning smell when it landed on the motor. The plastic separated from the metal ring and caused a loud thumping sound when the drum tumbled around. Do not buy this!

They seem to be a good fit and were quick to install - the axles are slightly longer than the ones I replaced, which makes it much easier to install the c-clips. However one of the roller wheels was lopsided and the drum isn't quite rotating freely. It's fine for now but I don't expect it to be a long-term fix.

Fit as expected, replaced completely worn roller so made a huge difference in noise the dryer was making.
