Iittala Kartio Pitcher, Clear

Not much to say about this perfect, simple, functional Kaj Franck design, except it's a great item to keep on your desk, or on your nightstand, with a matching Kartio tumbler or two. The pitcher feels great in your hand, easy to grasp at its "waist." The water green colored glass is luminous. Fill it with ice, slices of lemon (looks great with the glowing pale green glass) and sparkling water, and stay hydrated and happy all day.

I bought this pitcher as a Christmas gift for my mom. She loves it. It's different and eye-catching. She loves that it's high quality and made in Finland. She's thinking of using it as a vase too.Btw, the packaging was great--very snug and well padded so arrived safely.

I keep this carafe filled with water at work and use it daily. Lo and behold, my colleagues think that I'm drinking chilled white wine. I don't care, it is simple and elegant and I love seeing it on my desk.
