This pool hand skimmer has been a game changer, especially with the cottonwoods starting here in Michigan. We are new pool owners, and while the previous owner left us some tools, most of them needed to be replaced. This ended up being a much better find than anything that was left with the pool. What I like: • Works really well for cottonwood and other floating debris • The bag style holds more, so I do not have to empty it constantly • Made well and feels sturdy • Handle is a good length for skimming while I am in the pool • Much more useful than the older tools we had • Helps make quick pool cleanup easier • Good tool to have on hand during messy seasonal debris Things to be aware of: • I usually wait to empty it until I am done skimming • Debris can cling to the bag, especially when wet • I shake it and tap it against something firm, like the fence, to release debris • After it dries, another good shake usually gets most of the rest off • If you want something that empties perfectly clean every time, the bag style may take a little extra effort Overall: This has been one of the more useful pool tools we bought. It works especially well for cottonwood and fine debris, and I like that I can skim longer without constantly stopping to empty it.

I bought a collapsible 5-foot pool for my grandchildren, and wanted a skimmer for grass, leaves, and bugs that end up in the water. I looked at more expensive ones and almost bought one, but decided on this one since it was inexpensive and had good reviews. I'm very glad I did. It's great quality and works well. The handle is short so I have to bend over, but that's just as well because I would have to bend over, anyway, to see what has sunk to the bottom of the pool.

I’m new to the pool owner club and I’ve learned you need to have good nets and a few sizes. This one is perfect for skimming while getting your steps in! Net is big and deep! Works great!!

It works well and is easy to use. Lightweight, but I’m unsure how long the net will last and If the price were a bit cheaper, I’d give it 5 stars. it feels a little high for the quality. But overall it’s Ok!

Perfect for a small pool. I used this for my blow up pool and it's excellent. I also really appreciate how easily you can remove the handle for easy storage, as well as how sturdy the handle is when it is assembled, it doesn't bend at all. This does a wonderful scoop job and really helped with the bugs in my pool.

works great, very sturdy and stable, light weight. My only complaint is that it is not telescoping. When cleaning the hot tub I have to get my arm all the way in the water and sometimes depending on the weather and clothes I have on can be a pain in the butt. But....this is a good quality screen and I think a good value for the money. My other nets only lasted a year, but this one is different material and I think it will last for quite some time.

It does what I wanted

I've owned probably fifty pool nets in my life. This was as fine meshed anette, as i've owned even picking up debris, pollen and small insects from the top of the water. I offer the low price. And the shorter pole for anyone who is actually in their pool is so much easier and better than the traditional long pole, which I also purchased their net for. A truly positive experience.

Really like this skimmer. Quality is great and price was reasonable.

It’s a good design

Very easy and handy to scoop up the bugs lying on the surface of the pool. Saves me from having to take the leaf skimmer off of the big pole.

I paid 50 bucks for this 5 dollar item. The mesh works really well, no disappointment there, but the handle is short. like a kids badminton racket. I am only cleaning a 5 foot tank, but it doesnt reach the bottom on the far side.
