We needed slides for a piece of furniture that we bought. These are much smoother opening and closing the drawers than the ones that came on the kitchen island we bought. Would definitely recommend.

Great for pull out shelves

Had a drawer of a wood file cabinet get damaged during move. I was unsure replacing the slide would be easy - concerned about correct height and drawer fit after.I was able to replace one side, and didn't have to replace the other. The holes from the original were not usable, I had to make new holes and the unit was a bit taller as well. I centerlined my holes for the new unit with the holes from the bad unit, and it mounted and installed perfectly first time. Very happy with this.

The slides are fine. I've installed drawer slides before so these were a snap to install and work fine and smooth.All the other drawer slides I have bought came with screws. These did not, which meant an extra trip to the hardware store before these could be installed.So, if you buy these slides, be sure to also order a pack of 1/2 inch #6 wood screws so you can actually install them.The description of the item states that mounting brackets are not included. I guess the description was written by someone with poor English skills or by a non-English speaker using translation software. They must have meant screws or hardware, not brackets. You lose a star for bad communication skills and/or not proofreading your work.

I was able to repair a major drawer in my upright toolbox which held some of my heavier impact tools and hammers. It was easy to install as the holes matched perfectly.

I could have made due with the fact that these slides do not come with mounting screws, but the false advertising is frustrating. Not sure why it says “Soft close mechanism adds a concealed piston to slowly draw the drawer smoothly and silently closed”...these most certainly do not have any sort of soft close mechanism.

I'm a former contractor that has/does make my own cabinets. Had a specialty application for a shorter slide, and these installed and work great, and have almost no slop like some cheaper made slides. I see some people's point about not coming with screws- but I didn't find that an issue- depending on your application, you might want a different size screw than those that would come with it anyway. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
