Surface Hair Bassu Moisture Shampoo, 10 Fl Oz

I am 62 years old and have been coloring my hair for at least 20 years. This has left the cuticle dry and damaged and using a hair dryer has been off-limits for the same reason! I've purchased other "natural" products with moroccon oil, etc., but they must have a miniscule amount. This shampoo actually Hydrates without weighing the hair down like some cream rinses or causing it to appear oily. It's more expensive than most shampoos, but It does what it claims and is concentrated enough so that very little is needed. One 20 oz. bottle will last me for a year. It's worth it!

This shampoo is the best sulfate free shampoo I have tried to date. It lathered (although not too much) and cleaned without stripping. It (along with the hydrating conditioner) made my natural, curly, African- American hair clean, soft, moisturized and shiny. Only drawback, the price. But I guess quality isn't cheap!

After loving the Surface brand Curl Relaxing Treatment receive at the Beauty Salon, every 6 months so much, and loving their leave in conditioner, I figured their shampoo would be a hit also. Well, sadly, it wasn't. I brought this one, and one from my Beautician. The one on Amazon was just as many have stated, not as thick, and more runny than the one brought in the Salon. Hmm, I wonder why. I don't like the fact that it doesn't lather real well either, unless you wash your hair twice. The second time, you will get more lather. Truthfully, I wasn't thrilled with either one of them for the price it is, so I guess I will go back to my other brand after I use these up. I tried, but wasn't a home run for me this time. :(

I believe they added water to this shampoo as it is much thinner than the shampoo I usually buy. I will buy from another company next time. Very disappointing.

I've had used this product in the past and absolutely love the way it leaves your hair soft and shiny.

Lathers appropriately and works well without having a lot of the damaging ingredients that other shampoos have. Happy with my purchase.

This shampoo gives my hair text, it is moisturizing and detangles easily.

Watered down product. Ugh!
