AWESOME TOOL!
I love this thing! I keep it loaded with some #38 bank line, and of course a new mini Bic lighter!!! It's in my truck so I always have it with me wherever I'm at JIK!!! I should probably buy a few more, they are a great little survival item to have with you. A Bic and some cordage can go a long way in a survival scenario!

Gets that paracord squared away!
Perfect for paracord. The cutter and the lighter holder are a nice touch, though the mini-Bics it holds can be a little harder to find.

Stiff and sturdy is always good.
This is a buy once, cry once purchase. Made in America, and super sturdy. Awesome! I bought two for my daughter's archaeology tool roll, one for 550 para cord and the other for line level cordage.

Well designed but don't use for anything over 550 cord
Description really needs to have added " For 550 ParaCord and smaller". I figured it would have a set of notches for Type IV (750lb) cord but it doesn't. Their website shows how to use an emery board to open up the notches for variations in 550 cord, but if you want to use 750lb cord, like me, you might look elsewhere or plan to do some drilling. Overall I think it's a well designed product and will work well for anyone using 550lb cord ( or smaller), and it's made in the US. It just doesn't work for me. If they ever redesign it, I would probably make it about 3-4 inches longer to cut some of the loop bulk and add a set of notches for 750lb cord.

Works great, and now keep an organized spool of paracord ...
Put the spool tool to use right away. Works great, and now keep an organized spool of paracord stuffed into my bug out bag. Did not see the spare nuts as described in the items description. It keeps the paracord spooled up without getting it tangled. Has a letter opener style razor to easily cut the cord. Then using the notches and a lighter I can keep the tips of the cord clean. It has a clip to safely store a mini bic lighter. Will work this product into my organizing.

An ingenious piece of gear
This is a nifty piece of gear. The cutter is sharp but is protected from cutting anything unless you feed item into the slot and pull along it. Anchor holes are a nice touch and resolves the issue of getting a tight wrap right at the beginning. It was ingenious to build in the mini lighter place and it does not extra width to the tool. The hole for hooking to a pack, rig, belt is brilliant. We filled our first tool with the 750 Paracord and it was a little thicker but much better than making a hank. A thin file opened the slot a bit so we could fire the end of the cord. Bought 2 for bugout bags, son took one , ordered 3 more.
