I spent probably hours trying to decide which replacement ear pads to choose and finding ones compatible with the Soundlink AE2. I went with these because they were much thicker than the others I was finding and I’m glad I did! They are soft, comfortable, and super easy to install. It took me maybe 2 minutes and that’s only because I paused to take pictures of the difference between the old and new. They seem to work really well and I actually notice a difference in the sound quality; the bass seems richer and I had to turn the volume way down from where I had it with the original, well-worn pads. My scrims didn’t need replacing (and the ones it came with seemed a little smaller and thinner than the originals) so I didn’t replace those. Overall I think these are well worth purchasing and I would highly recommend.

I used these to replace the worn-out original pads on a Bose SoundLink Around-Ear II Wireless headset. I like the headset a lot, and it's great that this item means I don't have to replace it. Removing the original pads was easy & took under a minute or two for each ear using the supplied tool & the QR-coded video instructions. In my case, installing the replacement pads was a little more difficult than the video makes it look, but it worked out fine. (It involves getting the foam ring backing each pad to engage with eight tiny plastic tabs. Patience & persistence is the key, unless, of course, you can get them to pop right in on the first try like in the video.) Once installed, the pads feel at least as cushy/comfy as the originals, and they look & feel as though they'll last at least as long too. Well worth the money.

So easy to make your Bose look like new. Cheap and easy to do. I wish I did it sooner. Great instructional videos available to help if you have hesitations about doing. After watching videos you will see how easy it is. Look and feel like the original pads.

Better quality than original, the colour (beige) was spot on and easy to fit with a tool that comes with them. The tool was also useful to scrape the original sticky pads from the internal original fixing. New lease of life to years old perfectly working Bose headphones. Good as new.
