Wall Mounted Doorway Pull Up Bar

This pull up bar has many great features: easy to install above my 30" office door - I can hang and swing on it - do pull ups (of course). The slots for each bolt solve variations in door size. The slight angle changes offer alternate comfortable choices for hands. It's very strong.

i love this pullup bar. the diameter is a little larger than standard bars but i love it because it strengthens my grip for jiu-jitsu. when i use a regular pullup bars, it becomes effortless. the ergonomic grips put very little strain on my wrists. very sturdy. i used the lag bolts that came with it. very easy to install. it came out perfectly even. make sure to use a level. if you need tips on how to install, ask. i love the ultimate body press company. their dip bars are also very well built.

Great product. Ergonomic grip for pull-ups or chin-ups. Low profile so it can fit many places without getting in the way. Im about 210 right now and it holds me just fine. No creeks or groans signally possible unit failure. Ive seen complaints that the bar is to smooth and I agree yes, that especially if its outside and there is moister on the bar it is almost impossible to keep a tight grip. An old gym rat trick is to take (quality) athletic tape and simply wrap the bar where you mostly have your hands. You'll never have a grip problem again. It comes with 4 lag bolts, though I wish it would have been at least 6 just because I like to be extra cautious. Bolts are rust prone if mounted outside. Bar is coated and will not rust unless damaged.

This is a really nice sturdy pull up bar and it was easy to install. It's very ergonomic since it has two grips for doing pull ups and chin ups making it easy for the elbows,but i have two problems. Firstly the bar gets slippery when my hands get sweaty, i solved this problem by wrapping the bar with grip tape, it would have been nice if it had knurling. Secondly, the paint finish. Apart from the fact that it's too smooth, the paint was scratched in many places, which isn't something you'd expect for the price.

I think this is a great piece of equipment and a good value. I mounted it in my man cave shed, and it is working well. I like the diameter of the grips. It is wider than some. If you are considering this, keep in mind that if you mount it on a flat wall, your knees will brush up against the wall. That might be fine for some. If you mount it over a doorway, be sure that the door opens all the way and will not obstruct your pull-ups. If I could change something, I would make the grips knurled. But even so, it's a Five Star product. I'm really glad they didn't put some lame foam padding on the grips. I wouldn't have bought it with that. My only other piece of advice is that if you have really broad shoulders, this might be too narrow for what you want. That is kind of a judgement call, but go to a door frame and put your hands at the top and over the vertical trim and that's about the width of the grips.

Went up easily and hit the stud dead on. Love this thing, a lot of times less is more and this is one of those times. Simple, effective and sturdy. Only downside to me is I’m short/average 5’ 8” so I kind of have to jump up to grab hold of the bar which takes energy that I could have used doing actual pull-ups. Easily can get around that by using a step stool. Love that I can finally close my door and that it doesn’t damage the door frame like the previous versions of pull-up bars I used. If you are going to be spending 30 bucks on a bar anyway, pay the extra 20 and get this, it’s worth it. I do wish it was a straight bar style and not the ergonomic grip just because I value the training over the comfort but it’s ok.

Easy to install. Came with all the proper screws and anchors. I just used the screws to attach it to my wooden support beam in my basement. You will need a ratchet wrench and power drill if you’re going to attach it to your support beam. Sturdy and does not move at all. Supports my weight easily. I’m going to attach a pulley system to it so I can also do lat pull downs.

0 quality control! I ordered this product and it didn't come with installation hardware, I was like ok mistakes happen. I had to return it and they sent me a replacement. The replacement didn't come with installation hardware either! On top of that look at the weld quality and the rust on the pull up bar! This is terrible. Very disappointing. 0 quality control as i said. How hard is to make a simple bar.

La barra es de buen material y de buen acabado. La forma es idónea para trabajar los agarres de diferente manera. El tamaño es idóneo para montar sobre una puerta, algunas puertas son mas anchas que la barra, sin embargo se puede montar sobre la puerta sin problema, incluso pasa inadvertida. recomendable

しっかり取り付く為、ぶら下がってもブレがなく、安心。 配達は1月ほど遅延したけど海外から配達なので許容内。 取り付け寸法が分からなかった為、不安だったが無事取り付いたので問題なし。 取り付け時のボルトは60mmほどネジ長があるので壁圧に注意が必要。 良い買い物でした。

The bar is pretty solid, but it is also quite compact. For instance I am 85kgs and the bar hardly moves at all when I pull up, even with 4 screws only provided in the installation kit. For those of you wondering if it can be installed in a brick wall... Yes it can! I used wall anchors sized 14x75mm with the provided screws and it worked well.

The bar has a perfect grip width and a curve angle. It is just ergonomically wise for carpal joints. It comes in one piece which is strong and reliable. I screwed it to the joist above the stairs into the basement.
