Honest Review
Going to give you my personal view on this.My background, base your opinion from this perspective.1. I work / build 4x4s and muscle cars2. Helped build 3 homes3. Soldier 12-BravoJust moved into this house 6 months ago, wanted to upgrade the garage lights for my car projects.Mounting hardware..Don't use the screws, don't even use the screws for anything else, ...they will just fail and the only interesting thing that will come of this is the new sware words inverted, the metal is so soft that the Phillips star just disintegrates with minimal pressure. The mounting hardware is a "spring" clip that you snap the aluminum body of the lamp to, in order to use the provided clips, you would have to snap a chalk line, your MK-1 eyeballs won't be able to establish the near perfect alignment from ends to middle alignment. The slightest misalignment on one end is magnified on the other. If you intend to use the clips, snap them on and use double face tape, or a fast dry adhesive and stick them on, I used the 8' ones, if you do, find a good friend or a bad one you been looking to get rid of (give them the screws). In my case, I bought 16 eight foot lights, and I attached them and to end with the hard point adapters in 4 sections. Not that its beyond me to perfectly attach these lights, I just didn't see a logical reason to do so, and if I'm going to.. drink, its going to be for pleasure. My ceiling joists are exposed, no drywall or equivalent, using (different) screws and Zip ties, I simply put screws in with a Zip tie hoop and slid in the light.Lowbrow right? maybe, however doing so had these lights go up super quick and allotted for minor deviations in alignment and obstructions, i.e. the electric garage door opener brackets.I would have loved to use the clips, it would have looked "pro" , but alignment of 32' 4× times with those clips, would in theory would have given me cancer.Onto the "looks", they are small and put out lots of light, turning on the garage lights with all the old ballasts no longer sounds like USCSS Nostromo powering up, it just is suddenly bright, like realizing your alarm didn't go off.I went with this color as I didn't want Yellow in my lights, even tho it might have been a cleaner white, I didn't want any overlapping yellow from other lights, as we all know, when the clock is running out and you have to cut the right wire, you only get to be wrong...once.This is a "sterile" white, but not a hospital oppressive sterile white, it's not going to make you chew on extension cords. I didn't hardwire them in, already had ceiling outlets from the other lights, I used the included plugs with the built in switch so I can choose what lights I want on or off.I had a few units that came slightly bent, had I been using the provided clips, this would have been a short rant about a "Return" and not an install.Measure, find out where they are going, one thing I always hated about garage lighting was the "lack of it" near the opening, this "deep end" had you dragging lights where you had few outlets, so I purposely got these light as close to the door as I could. On the " shallow end " I can always add bench top lights to fit my needs.I'm happy with these lights, tho I would pay extra for more flexible and quality hardware, that would tip the scales on others brands right in this price point.Hope you enjoyed my review.

I just love these lights. I purchased many 4ft and 8ft lights!
Can't beat the price of these. they are great lights. I love how light they are. Also they now have improved the snap lock mounting to be a little stronger but you still have to be diligent about not bending them. My only complaint now is they could improve their little screws. The Phillips heads strip out easily. It wasn't a problem for me because i just used drywall screws. One note on what i observed on the 8ft lights when ganging multiple lights together (within the stated maximum) with the 1" long adapter was that I found that the ceiling joists in my pole building in cold weather would sometimes shrink enough to pull apart and disconnect so if i were to do it over I would use the 24" wire jumpers provided. Buy these lights! You wont regret it!

Don't last
I bought 2 cases of these led lights July 2024 for use in my shop. Over half failed within 4-5 months - No warranty after 30 days, so I purchased a replacement case to match others. Within weeks, the first one failed, and over the next 2 months, more failed.75% failure rate within a 8 months. These lights are in a shop with a worst case daily use of 4 hours, so 245X4=980 hours, well under the many thousands of hours advertised life expectancy! When the second case started failing, I contacted seller again - After much effort - pictures and emails, they agreed to send a case of replacements lights. Within 2 months, 50% of those have failed. I liked the lights, but they don't last. I'm going to switch to something else.NOTE - I bought the same manufacturer/brand led bulbs for replacements in florescent fixtures in the other side of shop. There are 20 of these bulbs, and none have failed! So it may just be the type of led?Buyer beware!

Let there be light!
After reading some of the reviews about the clips and screws for mounting these feather-weight LED fixtures, I was leery of having problems. I just moved into a house with two 2-car garages, and intend to make one of them into my wood shop. I did a layout using Sketchup to get a feel for how I wanted to place the fixtures for best lighting and minimize shadows. The shop is 20ft X 20ft. So I got my ladder out and started driving in a screw in the ceiling at the end point for the first contiguous pair. I set a second screw at the far end. I snapped a chalk line between the screws. There are four clips per fixture. I spaced them out starting 4" from one end, and the next clip 32" from the end. Repeated on other end. Then marl your clip locations along the chalk line. The fixture hardly weigh anything, and the screws set pretty well into the 5/8" sheetrock ceiling. Then it was just a matter of snapping each fixture into the clips. No failures or problems. I used the 4' interconnecting cable to daisy chain two fixtures. The amount of bright white light from 8 fixtures is astounding! My wife asked me if I needed sunglasses!I am quite pleased with my purchase. If anything goes wrong, I will update this review.
