274.202.05 Glass Media/Storage Bottles, Clear, 2000 mL

I use these for storing agricultural solutions and chemicals. I switched to glass after a liquid fungicide totally disintegrated a brand new Nalgene bottle and made a mess. These bottles are very sturdy and on the surface are indistinguishable from my Pyrex bottles except for the markings etc. I can’t comment on Laboratory use and their ability to withstand high and or low heat/freezing. The price was significantly less than comparable bottles, and while folks may not care, I like to buy USA or from a country isn’t considered an enemy , or human rights violator. Sorry for the politics injected into a simple glassware review.

The bottle I received had a different brand name than the one shown in the listing. It also had a manufacturing defect on the base of the bottle. On top of that the capfeels much lighter and less solid than the cap on another bottle I have of the correct brand. Would not trust for serious chemistry applications.
