Worked super well
It did a great job at cutting my wavy medium-short length hair. It helps create a more layered and “grungy” look by default, though you could do a more clean/neat look if you’d like as well. The package came with 10 replacement razors as well! Great value and I’m sure it’s going to be long lasting.

Feather Styling Razor Kit
The kit arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I purchased it to keep the neck fuzz off my neck between haircuts. It is perfect for a non-professional who is not adept at using a traditional straight razor, and there is no way (given the stainless steel safety shield) that you can cut yourself. Unlike a regular multi-blade disposable razor, it does not get clogged up with neck fuzz hair and is not rendered useless until you go to the the trouble of unclogging it. It just wipes clean OR is cleaned by running faucet water over it. The razor is a bit pricey, but this is a professional product that serves its intended purpose excellently; and I think you get what you pay for.

Jatai Feather Styling Razor Review
This razor is great for cutting the hair on my neck. By design, the blade is covered by a steel comb so it would be very hard to cut yourself. So I can cut the hair on the back of my neck myself. It also can be used to cut or trim your hair. Using scissors for cutting your own hair is kind of hard to do but using this razor is much easier. The razor does not cut the hair the way scissors do, it leaves the ends looking natural, like they were not cut. I trim the hair above my ears with these with no problem. Easy to use with good protection against cutting my skin.

It Sure Helps an Old Man Cut His Own.....SAVES $$$$$$$
First I'd like to say that I'm not a stylist or even a barber. I'm a 66 year old man that was tired of paying someone to screw up my hair. So, I've been cutting my own hair for the last year. I personally think it looks just as good or better (most of the time) than what I've been paying for years, or should I say, my entire life. That's not to say I'm good at it. Far from it. But, unless you want to pay big bucks for a professional, you take what you can get....anywhere. That's why I decided to give it a try last year.My hair is getting gray, thinner, and has always been 'wavy'. My curls have been the source of my frustration and apparently, the 'other' barbers too. It seems like curls aren't understood by anyone. Well, I've learned a thing or two about cutting hair this past year and I still needed something to tame certain areas where maybe I couldn't see good or get to well. This Styling Razor was the ticket. I was able to take some of the bulk out without opening a gap in the back of my head. I've learned also how to cut curls somewhat, but not with the Razor. I don't use it often but it works great for what I do. I'm not looking for a hairstyle, just a haircut and it helps me do that.If you're like me and want to "cut the cord" on salons, you just might need something like this. Works Great!!!

so easy to use
I am SO glad I found out about the FEATHER styling razor. I found several reviews and tutorials so I thought it would be easy to use without making HUGE cuts into my hair. It is so easy to use. I am not a professional hairstylist. I decided about a year ago to save money and cut my own hair. This works better for me than regular hair cutting shears, thinning shears or an electric razor. Because the blade is shielded by the case it is really easy to just take a bit off where you want it trimmed up and to do a bit of thinning out around the nape, the bangs and the ears. I have even been able to grow out the top length a bitI have a pixie cut. I am not sure how this would do on long hair.I recommend the FEATHER styling razor to anyone who wants to do a bit of trimming on shorter hair. I also recommend watching some razer cutting tutorials on line to get some idea for using this product.

Using This More and More
I purchased this because I wanted to be able to trim my own hair, without having to get a frequent haircut. I went online and saw a couple of videos on YouTube that offered some very helpful guidance. Have been using this for over a year and like the results. It's a great razor ... Easy to handle.

High Quality Product
This is a very high quality product. There are a couple different types of Feather razors, make sure you are getting the right one.It came with the handle, 10 replacement blades, and the blade disposal container. My barber suggested I get a Feather to quickly shape up the back of my neck in between visits. After I got it and tried it, I realized it was really no better than the normal face razor I had been using for my touch ups for years, so kind of a waste of money. However, if you are using it to actually cut and style hair, its a great tool!

If you need to shave large areas, this is exactly what you need.
This thing is awesome! I purchased this after seeing my hair stylist use one for shaving the back of my neck. At my work, we have to occasionally shave large areas prior to procedures and before this we were using disposable razors. If someone needed a large area, like an entire back, shaved it would take forever and also take multiple disposable razors. With this, even a really large area only takes a couple minutes. You don't even have to trim the hair first. If you are someone who needs to shave larger areas on other people or yourself, this is what you need. It would also work very well for shaving the back of your own neck since its angle allows you to more easily shave from the hairline downward than a disposable razor. Highly recommended.
