No-brainer for SIBO
I spent three years blowing mucho dinero every month on some diesel probiotics. Renew Life 150 billion count, $60 a pop... you get the idea. Low FODMAP diet did wonders for me, a pro-kinetic (low-dose naltrexone) did wonders for me.... but I was still having SIBO issues. What gives?Well, it turns out most people with a raging case of SIBO should actually be AVOIDING lacto-based probiotics. For most people, yes, they're adding good strains to the gut microbiome. In SIBO, though, they're essentially just adding to the overgrowth. Gas on the fire.
