Awesome upgrade kit for my 2009 Tacoma!
This is a great kit at at unbeatable price that comes with everything you need to upgrade the brakes on a Toyota Tacoma. The truck stops great, no squealing and very little brake dust so far.

What more could you want?
Couldn't have been any simpler to replace. Saved myself almost $600 over having the dealer replace everything.

Average at best.
One side failed after 30k...3/4 caliper pistons sized. Not thrilled about it. I would have bought OEM if I knew these wouldn't last. My stock calipers lasted for 80k...

Poor quality for the price
I put this set on my Toyota Tacoma in the fall and since have put less than 3K miles on it. Already had one caliper seize and had to replace the pads at that time as well. Anytime the brakes were cold or wet they would squeal in reverse and sometimes in drive until warmed up. Waste of time and money.

Good brake kit, but take a close look at the calipers for quality check. Used on 2011 Tacoma
Good Midgrade Brake Kit, just check to make sure the calipers are put together right. The calipers I got do not leak and the rotors and pads are strong, with moderate initial bite and good feel. Definitely better, stronger braking than the factory setup!I still think the drilled and slotted rotors are gimmicky, but they seem to work well and haven’t warped in the few thousand miles I’ve had them on the truck. But, the caliper piston boots were not properly seated when I got them. Make sure they are installed properly and the locking ring is in the groove all the way. While you are at it, take the extra step and lube the caliper pistons with a good brake grease (I used DuPont Krytox) and wrap the bleeder threads with some Teflon tape for long term performance.
