Q: Would someone please advise me of the folded dimensions of this Olivia hair brush? Also, how many rows of bristles? Many thanks!

Q: I will be using this with a blow dryer to straighten cowlicks, is it heat safe? Or will the boar bristles melt?

Never used it with a blow dryer. It’s not that hefty. I carry it my handbag to refresh the top.

Q: Want to use this for my beard, but only interested in the boar bristles. Is it possible to trim the plastic ones to their level, to make it smoother?

I imagine it would be possible to trim the plastic bristles, but I'm not sure you'd want to. The existing plastic bristles have a rounded edge so they don't scratch. You would lose that by cutting them. If you cut them shorter than the boar bristles that might help, but I still think there would be a risk of them scratching your face.

Q: How do you get it to fold back up?

Hello, there is a hinge on the brush that holds it straight in place. Once extended, just use a little force to unhinge the brush and place in the folded position. After a few uses, it will break in, allowing for ease from folded to extended use. Happy Styling! -Olivia Garden
