These Are Great Helmets
I bought one of these, exactly the same, over 20 years-ago, in a store at a ski mountain in New Hampshire! I used it forever, every time I skied and really liked it. It kept my ears warm without a hat, and was basically just more comfortable, and believe it or not lighter, than a hat. Recently, because I'm older now and wasn't planning on skiing any more (so sad!) I gave my Giro to a friend for biking and such. At the same time I have a bike and bought a scooter and I had a couple helmets to use on the scooter, but regretting having given the Giro away, so I came here. I could barely believe they still make the exact same helmet (in only one size!) - so easy to replace.These are the best helmets on Earth in my opinion. They're remarkably light. There's nothing like them. Get one, don't hesitate because of the cost; I promise this is a helmet you can keep and use for multiple activities for the rest of your life! I'm gonna keep this one and hold it tight. I'd say they're irreplaceable but really they're just inimitable! Ten stars!

lightweight, comfortable, and protective
this helmet is incredibly light and fits snugly. the 22 vents provide excellent airflow, keeping my head cool during long rides. the matte portaro grey/white/red color scheme is stylish and stands out. highly recommend for both casual and serious cyclists.

Helmet works. Light weight. Comes with adjustment pads to fit just right. Is vented and head doesn’t get too hot. No visor to fall off! Right ear strap knocks my AirPod out when using it.

This helmet saved me from a serious concussion
I fell from my bike, going about 15-18 mph, badly enough that they had to call an ambulance due to the whiteout of my vision for about 5 minutes. A CT scan confirmed I had no damage to my brain. This helmet saved me from a severe brain injury. I immediately bought another Giro helmet since the one in the picture was cracked into the foam. It took all the force, as designed to do, so my head didn't. Giro, you have a customer for life; I also bought three other Giro helmets for my wife and kids.
