I figured my four year old, who newly discovered a live for transformers, would be baffled by this, given it has more than two steps to transform. He picked it up immediately and constantly plays with it. His other more "baby" one just get beaten up now.Occasionally its head falls off... quick fix.Its a little wobbly in some places, its a tight fit in others. Great for the price and was a good birthday experiment to see if he can handle more. Great for hand eye coordination, and his sister doesn't seem to play with it at all, which is a win for him.

Good Deal on this! Don't buy at Universal Studios.
4 year old grandson loves this item as well as the Optimus version. Easy to play with and transform for him but he's really into transofrmers. We first saw it at Universal Studios Hollywood. He wanted it so bad but it was $40 dollars and way overpriced as well as most of the toys there. He cried but I told him it would be at home when we returned from vacation. So for the same price of 1 figure at Universal I ordered him this and the Optimus Prime version and even a 4 year old knows that's a better deal! Thanks Amazon. We picked up these items at an Amazon Locker on our way home from the Airport!

I loved that it was sturdy nowadays things made of plastic break in two seconds. This transformer is great and easy to transform. As far as the price goes this is a very fair price. I wouldn’t spend more as a mom but this is a good price

Hearty toy
Better than the bumblebee. Wished for lights and sounds. I guess if my kid has to make his own siren sound he will be all in anyway. As with the bumblebee, too much car in robot mode, a little clunky, hearty toy, won’t show wear and tear, as a car I couldn’t tell it could also be a robot if I didn’t know, maybe, I think

Great Price!
My 4yo autistic son is OBSESSED with “small robots” right now. He thinks everything transforms, and he is extraordinarily disappointed when it doesn’t. He tries to pull apart every small vehicle he finds, like hot wheels, toy helicopters, and even clocks or radios.Now these are a far cry from what we had in the eighties/nineties, but that’s fine by me. He loves it and that’s all that matters. His father can take back the antiques and he’ll have his very own to destroy. It’s gonna be a fun Christmas...

Product box beat up
The transformer is a good size for the money. However, the packaging it came in is very beat up & torn. Giving this as a gift and do not have time to exchange. Disappointed in the condition of package.
