Laugh all you want but I used this tape to stop the buzzing noise at the base of my windshield due to the plastic cowl dry rotting in the hot Florida sun. It saved me $550 that I didn't want to spend to replace it at the time. It's withstood almost a year of central Florida's unrelenting rain, sweltering heat and scorching sun . Taped onto plastic and glass. Vehicle is parked outdoors.

bought this to protect the insulation on outdoor HVAC lines. Without it, the UV breaks down the foam. This was easy to install and sticks very well to the foam and itself. Instructions warn: consider this 'permanent'. Especially with my use, you would destroy the foam trying to remove the tape.

I cannot comment on the durability yet, but it is important to keep in mind that this is not as easy to use as regular duct tape. It is a lot stickier, and thicker; all of which is a good thing. Looks like good stuff.Noticeably harder to peel off the roll. Use regular tape unless you require the extra stoutness and water resistance.Duck brand is a good regular duct tape.

This tape is awesome. I used it to tape a cover around my AC. Stayed on the whole winter and had a hell of a time getting it off in spring. Even used it to cover a hole on the car. Down where the water even gets on it and it looks like the day i put it on.Mike

In some ways it was almost 2 sticky when applying, but it does hold up much better to moisture than regular duct tape

Gorilla tape is the toughest-holding and longest-lasting, of any so-called, "duct" tapes. Don't waste your money on any other brand.

Works great! If you need a tape to stick this is the one. Takes scissors or knife to cut. Doesn't tear.

This is strong tape. I thought I was buying regular duct tape and was surprised by my accidental order. this weather strength tape is strong and tough. it's good tape, but i need scissors or a knife to cut it.
