Highly recommend
This stuff is amazing. I use it on some of electrical connections especially when putting underground like my landscape lights. It’s very easy to use. Even I can do it!😊

Just as good as MTB Ridewrap Chainstay Armour!!
Ridewrap chainstay armour is only a roll of rubber tape that costs twice as much as this product! I would highly recommend this product to protect your mountain bike frame and chain! Learned about this trick from a popular mountain biking channel on YouTube, I think GMBM? Anyways this product is perfect for protecting your mountain bike frame, whether carbon or aluminum!

Nice thick tape
I use this for all sorts of things: wrapping tool handles, bicycle chainstay silencer, padding between things that you don't want vibrating against each other. Sticky, grippy and lasts for a long time.

Even for an amateur, this is easy to use!!!
Wow! I am neither a plumber nor a handyman, I am a senior citizen woman with no expertise using such products.I ordered it because it was so irritating to connect my garden hose to have it leaking around the part that . . . like a groove (I told you I am no plumber :), it is where the end connects to the hose. It is between the hose and the end of hose.anyway, this was absolutely simple to use and I like the way you cut off a length and as you wrap it you stretch it tightly to seal the edges and it adheres to itself. It is thick enough to not tear and holds up well. You cannot go wrong either with the quality or the price.

Great padding, easy to apply.
Thick, soft, and easy to apply. Originally intended for electrical work, this mastic tape is a great sound-deadening and padding solution. Has 10 to 15% stretch and can be repositioned before final press down using a brayer (roller). I used it on a mountain bike to protect the frame from chain slapping and road hazards. Unfortunately, because of the softness of the material, it is not resilient to impact and scratches and will get marred and scuffed easily, ruining the aesthetics of a beautiful matte taping job. In the electrical field we would cover this mastic with a harder shiny tape like Super 33 or 88 to protect from shearing forces.

I don't use shrink tubing any more on electrical connections
I almost always solder electrical connections and this stuff makes a waterproof seal and is easier to apply than shrink tubing. It seems to vulcanize to itself when wrapped and is rather hard to get off wiring when that is needed. That's OK, I want something that works well. I use it to also wrap some hose clamps for looks and to avoid chafing. Tons of uses so I carry it in my work truck and fun buggy. I just cut off a small strip, peel off the paper and stretch it before applying. EZ and effective.

Used it to waterproof plug to plug connections outside for lights!
This stuff works great for waterproofing plug to plug connections outdoors. I have lights set up outside in my yard, and used it to tape the plug to plug connection points. After tightly wrapping with the 3M tape, I then wrapped my connections in electrical tape. This has been sitting outside for a month now through severe storms and I actually had one connection end up sitting in a gutter during a storm and still worked fine. The tape goes a lot further than you may think, as when you wrap it you stretch it out and overlap the pieces. BTW, watch out and make sure you the tape doesn't touch itself, as it's super sticky!
