A lot of really great recipes but wish they had more with fruit instead of vegetables.
Not enough fruit recipes too many recipes with vegetables in them not much for vegetable smoothies.

Good recipes
I like a lot of these recipes but they seem to be inconsistent on how many servings, and it's not li shed. Also sugar counts would be nice.

Great gift for a smoothie newbie
I bought this as a gift for my friend after she bought both of us Nutribullet Machines in an effort to jumpstart her own efforts at getting healthier food in her diet. I've been making my random smoothie every morning and texting the recipe & photo to her at 6am - then she copies it in her own kitchen at 7am. (We're ridiculous, I know, but what ever works!) Next week I won't be able to keep our schedule, so I wanted to support her from afar and this book is exactly what I needed. The recipes are laid out in sections that are easy to use depending on your needs and the ingredients are readily sourced and accessible at our local grocery store. My friend has already made two smoothies from the book and liked both of them. That's a win!

Juicing vs. Whizzing: These Delicious Smoothie Recipes Will Make Your Decision Easy!
This is an excellent and well-balanced collection of recipes for making great-tasting smoothies. There are some delicious combinations of common and easy-to-find ingredients to satisfy just about any taste bud. The recipes are also organized into well thought out categories to help you optimize your health goals.Stephanie Shaw's background as an RN in long term health care is a big plus as she introduces us to the awesome health benefits of smoothies vs juicing before getting into the recipes. For myself, I've tended to avoid juicing because of the messy cleanup afterwards. Using the Nutribullet, or similar, system makes for a much cleaner way to get the maximum punch out of fruits and veggies. The only drawback I see is that the author didn't mention that it would be much better if you chose ORGANIC ingredients to make your smoothies to reduce the amount of chemicals your body is getting, especially if you're trying to detox. Although a few of the recipes list an organic ingredient, I would highly recommend to choose organic over regular grocery food fare. If you can't always get organic, you can always check out the Environmental Working Group's "Clean Fifteen" (http://www.ewg.org/foodnews/) to help you choose wisely.Overall, I highly recommend this smoothie recipe book.
