I was worried I wouldn't be able to find the correct remote for my tv. I cannot understand why the original stopped functioning with the on/off power button. I decided to take a chance on this remote, and it worked. No programming required. Out of the bag, batteries popped in, covered replaced, remote was making all things possible again.

THIS REMOTE CONTROL WAS A RIP OFF!!! IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL, AND SINCE IT FELT SO LIGHT, WE OPENED IT AND FOUND IT TO BE EMPTY OF EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE BUTTONS!!!!

When I first got this remote, it was super easy to set up. All I did was put batteries in and turn it on. TV came on right away.The batteries have to be in just right though, else it won't work. So I did often have to take the batteries out and put them back in almost every day I used the remote.Eventually one of the buttons got stuck somehow and it would continuously press "1". I unstuck the button but for some reason it continued to press "1"...Then the remote ended up on the floor at some point and I didn't see it. I stepped on it and the whole thing cracked into peices.That was the end of the remote.I can't believe how low quality it is. It looked promising. But maybe spend a few more dollars on a better remote..
