This brush is amazing! Our long-hair cat was getting lots of hairballs and shedding like mad. Based on reviews here and the US amazon I decided to try this. Wow! It pulls off tons of hair. The trick is to use short strokes, both to get more hair and to keep the brush from pulling the skin. If you pet has hair mats like mine did, you will most likely need to cut those out first before using this. I tried to use this to work out mats and it just pulled too much on the skin. I carefully snipped out the mats and then used this. Now, no more mats! Our cats coat is lighter and looks good. I am excited to have this for next summr as I think it will really help with the heat!

This product is amazing. When I looked at it first, I wondered how it would work. But all doubts were put to rest when I used it in my cat. Except when I used it on his tail which he objected to, he didn't mind me using this tool on him at all. No idea of how it works but it sure does it job.

Excellent tool, easy to use and good built. Hope Amazon will sell spare blades of the same as there is provision to replace them when necessary.

Contrary to the name it does not pull out loose hair - instead it cuts the length - useful nevertheless.
