Great for use in some of my 13 (and counting) oil lamp. I have one made from an old ink bottle and was able to create "black ink" for it. The one I got at the beach now has sand and shells "under the ocean". Makes my lamps even more interesting and fun!

Got this with my lamp. Love mixing the colors. It does not effect the flame color. It will stain your wick, but has not stained any of my glass. Amazing value as you need so little dye to color the oil (I’ll have to go through gallons and gallons of oil before I need more dye). Most importantly, be a mad scientist mixing the colors, you’ll have fun making your perfect shade.Best advice I can give is this. Use a very small amount because you can always add more. The more you add the deeper and richer the color, but too much and it looks dark and the color can get lost. As said earlier, it will stain your wick, be prepared to swap out wicks if you are changing colors and a little obsessive about not having a yellow oil lamp with a green wick.

Mixes great with clear lamp oil to make it a. Bueatiful red. Much cheaper than buying red. Clear is much cheaper and can buy that locally and change into redEasy to use and not a lot needed to make it a deep red color.

Product works well for dye of oil or oil lamps . It came in a crap package and the red leaked all over. Got on my hand and it stained for a week. This product will not come out of items so use with caution and care, and who ever ships it do a better job it's too expensive to purchase and receive a mess!
