Could I fit the top part to the wall, a few cm away from the bottom one? As switch lights are in the way and I could’t buy it if it has to rest on it

You can detach the bottom from the top. It’s only attached together with screws and brackets that are easily removed. So it would work. Not sure how you’d attach the top to a wall though!

Description says that the top part has feet. Does this mean that there is a gap between top and bottom cabinets when assembled?
