Q: If you have pets, does hair repel easily?

Yes. Doesn't "repel", but it doesn't stick. Very tight weave so easy to brush off or vacuum like high tread count sheets. VERY pleased with weight and feel. Bought another one for the guest rm. Doesn't wad and lump after laundering either, dryer to bed.

Q: is this comforter warm enough for winter

Perfect amount of warmth for Southern California. We get too hot if the evening temps are in the high 50s, low 60s.

Q: Is this a good option for hot climates? Live in Louisiana where it regularly gets to 90+ degrees in the summer

Absolutely not. I keep the house at 67 and I sweat like a sauna with this bad boy. I even throw one leg out and I’m still boiling with this comforter.
